Same Chemdog seeds but different outcome

I got seeds replaced when several of the first batch did not germinate. Here are the plants from ILGM seed replacements --Chemdog. Any ideas why they are so different–one is a light color and the other has yellow edges. PH is fine.

Cannabis has variations in its genetics that make plants different sometimes. Differences can be minor or glaring sometimes. Nothing about it is bad. No two children look alike from the same parents. Cannabis is just one of those plants that does this. The effects and aromas are what the breeders are trying to stabilize in a strain.
The browned edges of your plant look like the effects of watering too often. Cannabis does better when watered fully and then left to dry out for however many days it takes to use up most of the water.
How often are you watering?

I think @Spiney_norman and @OGIncognito have your issues identified. The only part of your plant the requires O2 is your roots. If you’re using soil or coco coir these days lots of growers are using fabric pots. This allows O2 to get to your roots from all directions.
I noticed you have your pots on the carpet and in plastic tubs. I would recommend you purchase a washing machine drain pan and some fabric pots.
The lack of O2 and retention of water will cause your medium to drop pH and create a breading ground for bad microbes.
I use beneficial microbes, Hydroguard, from day 1 and continue until the last week of flower when I flush with pH’d water with a dose of FloraKleen.

Was doing about every 3 days so will change that. Thanks!

Better to lift the planter pots and feel how heavy they are. Once they use up the water they will feel light. Surprisingly light to be honest. Many factors come into play about how long that takes. Might be 2 days and may take a week.
Overwatering, which means too frequently as you should water the soil to the point it runs out the bottom, looks similar to overfeeding.

A little easier to identify as it starts, but as it progresses they will look similar.
Yours look like a overwater problem. The leaf damage is permanent so watch the new growth for symptoms.

So here we are a few weeks later. I checked the PH again and it is ok, watered less and waited several days between and checked for dryness.
Do you actually let the plants wilt a little before watering?
The only thing I can figure is I got out of whack on the Foxfarm supplement but I dont think so. Ideas at this point?

Almost, follow a drench to drought routine with liberal run off, discard the run off and don’t let the plant sit in this or it’ll wick back into the medium causing root zone PH issues. Depending on the size of the grow vessel and the plants age the dry period could be 3-5 days or so :love_you_gesture:
