The sides of the fabric bag is normal yeah? Mine started looked like this and was concerned about the brown to white coloring
For sure. Fabric pots get pretty haggard during a grow. Brown, green, white I’ve seen all kinds of stuff on them.
Great input guys, gives me some solid ideas.
I have a 4x4 tent with 16 5 gallon pots in it right now. Just need to make it another week or 2 before I can offload alot of them to outside.
I made a small PVC rack that holds the handles of my fabric pots. I call her bendable Betty. I place her around the pot, lift her handles about a half inch onto her little posts, and then I can slide the saucer right out from underneath and swap it for a clean empty one!
Usually I take my plants out every night for feeding/waterings, but sometimes they just get too big to move. That’s when I break out Betty!
Betty is a great idea!
That’s great @Cap_Ron. It looks like the cranes they use to unload the cargo ships at the docks.
You are officially a canna pot longshoreman. Ha
@noddykitty1, my hillbilly engineering skills are limited only by the level of herbal enhancement I’m currently under, lol

I have not seen that one before.
She’s relatively new @beardless. I was really struggling with some big girls. I had a little length of rope I put through the fabric pot handles, then wrapped tight around one hand. I’d then lift with that hand and try to swap saucers with the other. It was so difficult I needed to come up with a different way. I tried a small pump, but I want to know that my saucers are fully clean every day and that any readings on runoff will be accurate.
I’m really happy with how she works. I have a few sets of nubs to switch out when necessary due to slight differences in fabric pot handles and heights. I can swap saucers and lifts under 10 plants in about 10 minutes.
Those look excellent @beardless. Our PVC options are only limited by our own imaginations. I’m toying with the idea of replacing the entire original frames of my tents with my own PVC versions. I’d have extra fittings in lots of places to allow for maximum flexibility for hanging everything from lights, fans, filters, probes, ect. Most tents have under sized frames and cheap hardware anyway. I always add support before I hang lights or heavy equipment.
@beardless those are awesome.
Have a question using ilgm fertilizer on my plants an they are almost done do I need to flush them??
