Missouri has hard water. I’m at 7.8ph tap water after letting it sit out 24 hrs. Also I thought the ph of distilled water doesn’t mean anything because there is no minerals in it?

Yep, you are right. If it is distilled straight from the container why is it not neutral? That’s where I was.

The answer is that there isn’t really any potential hydrogen (ph) in this state. Which isn’t really neutral in terms of how neutal ph is defined at 7 but is neither acidic or basic either. This kind of semantical but should be noted that most of our meters will display a number that doesn’t explain the true state of completely stripped water.

what about mixing with tap then reading the PH and TDS?

I envy the jungle you’ve created over there. I hope someday soon i can expand without having to worry about getting 40 years in the can lol. I can manage 1 plant but id be interested to see how a big grow went. Right now im kinda stuck between smoking 1 strain everyday for 4-5 months or rolling the dice and picking up some street weed lol.

I think bigger grows are more work but , in some ways easier. With the right plan and serious preparation, and commitment of at least 5 monthes of your life. Then just do everything right every time. No worries. Piece of cake. Years ago we had to hide from the choppers and spotter planes…underneath the weed more than once…lol… another day at work for a grower back then…used to be relatively easy…nowdays if its not legal , I feel you would be taking more risk…I am thinking of a big grow now…satellites don’t miss anything…okay back to the amusement…
