Well…I went ahead and ordered canna coco online. And got a 12 pound kit of Jack’s. So this roots organic stuff may just end up sitting for a minute anyhow. Plenty of time to get some knowledge on it and either proceed in buying all the things or using it for vegetables lol

Sorry I’m late to the party. Work thing got in the way. I like the ML pack and have good results with it. I’m growing in ProMix and the two work well together. Looking forward to my next grow, I’m not going to do as much LST and see how my plants me then.

Yeah I’ve been playing with different coco mixes and products to see which one I like the best so far been roots soiless mix. But they make a soul synthetics soiless mix I’m thinking next. Trying some koko bop now

What is it you like about the Roots Soilless? I have been using ProMix hp now that I need to restock I’m starting to investigate different media. I was thinking about ProMix with extra perlite mixed in, Kind soil but I don’t want to give up that much control and the Roots product. I like the ProMix because I have not had any bugs and have control of the soil.
Have u tried the roots soiless yet? It’s got a ton of perlite in it. Or @Bubblehead have the cal mag right?
I have not tried the Roots Soilless, maybe I’ll go that way and not have to add perlite. Yes I have the Cal-Mag, I like the fact it does not add any NPK when used. 1 tsp to a gallon does add 300 ppm to my water. Do you add petite to your media?

Nope I dont the roots soiless has amazing drainage. Dries out in 2 days. That’s what my autos are in right now @Bubblehead

Having read the description on their website I don’t see why not. Shoot them an email I’m sure they will help you out. Ether them or GH. @Killadruid do you see any reason why GH could not be used in Roots Original?

Not really add some perlite watch ppms and good to go prolly has alot of perlite in it knowing roots. I havent used the original yet. Also gh says it works great in soil also.

I know it does good in soil. I just figured getting an organic soil and then feeding synthetic is kinda stupid haha

@Bubblehead that roots soilless looks legit.
@DankGunslinger I ended up going with ProMix again for this season. I am starting to understand the medium and want to stay away from the potential for bugs. I’m challenged enough with my grows. I decided I didn’t want to add the potential for bugs flying around my tent as another challenge.

@imSICKkid how did the roots organic work out for you? Just bought a bag for my first soil grow was going to use it for my seedlings and use some organic nutrients after 2 weeks, I had a couple people recommend the soil. Any tips to help? First time grower
