@SHOOK505
I’m jealous now! Nice looking grow you have going there. Welcome to the forum.
Been growing here and there outdoors since the mid 90’s. Quit drinking a couple years ago and got really interested in growing again . Would love to try indoor but its just not in the cards yet. I have learned tons since joining this forum. Finding myself here more and more.
Beautiful
Welcome to the community
Hi! I am @TransplantedFarmgirl
This is my third year of growing cannabis, not including the bag seeds that i chucked out the window and would grow
I grow in soil, use FoxFarms soils and a range of nutes, whatever happens to be in stock now when i need it. Start seeds in jiffy pods, and am lucky in my LST/HST trials. I’m originally a farmgirl from the northern states, raised by old-skool “moon and stars” farmers, so I have a great appreciation for planting to the signs. Been mobile around the Midwest, currently in the southern portion. As such, my indoor/outdoor grows are based on the optimal weather and temperatures. I use both HLG LED and Gorilla HPS, depending on seasons. I am kinda lucky in that my compost bin grows some of the best $#!^ I’ve ever toked! Pleased to meet you.
@TransplantedFarmgirl
You got it going on
Currently on my first grow. 2 ILGM White Widow autos. One in A Pot for Pot and one in organic promix. Have Bergmans and Jacks nutes. Have started with Bergmans seedling booster but probably changing to Jacks. Trying to expand my knowledge and find my lane.
2x4x5 tent with a Spider Farmer SF2000.
Very interested in LST, HST and SCROG
Thank you all for the compliments. I use fox farm soils as well and use the Age old nutrients with a few humboldt county mixed in as well.
Hi! I’m @NewbieWazowski
I’ve only been growing for the past 6-8mos
I grow indoor with a 2x4x6. I wish I could grow more, but I’m a city boy with limited room.
I have the AC Infinity showroom in my tent. Love that I can tweak things with a flip of a switch, but I also will get down and dirty as I get more comfortable with different trimming/training strategies.
Soil - P4p for now. Wanted to have a few successful grows before switching over to something a little more challenging/fun to work with
5 gal fabric pots with self-watering bases for high volume time or when I’m away for work
All autos right now. Excited about doing photo in a few cycles:)
Love this group and learning from all of you. I get super-excited about all of this and I’m fortunate to be around such a great group of folks. This is definitely my happy place:smiling_face:
Storm. Growing off and on 40 years. Large breaks in grows. Really knuckled down when got sick about 7 years ago. Soil always. Hps/Mh to start progressing to led. Cheap to top end as most did. Started with nutes but now in living soil for last couple years. Very relaxed low stress grower. I understand the science behind growing because I love tech but am a seat of the pants let god do the work mostly. Patience is what I preach. Cant rush these things.
Never in hydro or coco. Only plants in water i like have bass swimming under them and I am lazy so hate a ton of work. Retired…lol. I also believe in work with what you have. God does. Living soil has been a blessing for me and I will never go back. I FIRMLY believe in basics over complicated. I believe nature is so fluctuating, and that cannabis so adaptive to that, no need to dial in perfect. I also believe our rh/temp ranges are bigger than we realize. PH isnt 1 i play with…grin.
Thats about it. Back to bingeing Voyager I go.
Just an aside I also do many edibles using rso or my preferred method of infusing. I grow for a small medical circle in my area.
Hey everyone I have been growing about 3 years! I started with my dad an it was a blast he is no longer with me so I keep on doing it cause it’s what me an him enjoyed the most lol. We do it a little different being back woods. We use straight outside dirt mixed with potting soil just plain bag dirt. An use the ilgm nutrients. Have had some really ups an downs but it’s turning out bigger an better every time. AN DONT BE LIKE ME AN GO WITH CHEAP LIGHTS CAUSE YOU WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE BUY THEM GET GOOD ONES TO START WITH:joy:
I’ve been using and liking Grow Dots in soil for my last several autoflowers.
I’m @skippyisnohippy and I started growing weed in June 2021 for a little more than a year, and then no grow for 1 year-just started my next 2 weeks ago. I started out buying a Bloom Plus BP 2500 light from Amazon. After reading on this forum for a few months from many growers here I got a 4x4 tent, and then 2 HLG 260 rspec kits. Growing in canna coco, using Jacks 321 with MPK for 3 weeks at the start of flower, and armor si. I pulled 2 pounds of ILGM Banana Kush on my first grow, thanks to this community.
That photo is a couple weeks before my first harvest, listen to the smart people and put your money into lights first. I am still smoking that Banana Kush harvested almost 21 months ago. I love this place.
Hey everyone, I’m @MagicCultivator420
I grow in a 4x2 Gorilla tent, and use a 70/30 Coco/Perlite mix. Coco is Canna Coco Professional Plus.
Lights are Electric Sky ES300 V3.
Nutrients are Advanced Nutrients.
Extraction is AC Infinity.
Been growing for a year now.
I do 2 cycles in a year, 1 photoperiod, and 1 auto. I take summer off cause temps here are ridiculous, soaring into the 90s+ and the plants really start suffering. 3 plants each time in 3 Gal Air Pots.
I like the Nebula manifold on photos, and the MeEasy technique on autos. I’m a heavy fan of defoliation, but am still learning how to do it 100% properly.
Gonna experiment with an automated watering system next grow.
This is my latest auto grow:
Es300 are good lights @MagicCultivator420 . Running 5 of them with 3 spares for when i spread out again.
Yeah, I agree, it was a tough call going between them and HLG, but I’m really happy with my choice. Such a shame they’re out of production now
Yeah it’s an awesome technique, I got some good results on my first grow with it, especially considering I’m still a newbie. Gets a bit crowded with 3 plants, but that’s where defoliation comes in handy to help with airflow and overlapping leaves.
Cool cannabis lion btw
