Rock wool starts and watering

Hello all!! Well I’ve had one Gold Leaf seed break through, 1-how soon to the hempy pot and 2 do I give any nutrients in the rock wool, I know it’s an inert medium (no nutritional value) so do you go lik 1/8,1/16 strength at first I’m gonna try n not lose the little girl y’all have been awesome thus far thank y’all

4 parts coco coir
1 part composted manure/worm castings
1 part perlite.

My 2 week old seedlings and rooted clones go in this for about the first month. All I do is water.

My seeds that start in Rockwool get nothing until they’re outgrowing the Rockwool cube. I only use 2” cubes tho so it doesn’t take all that long. Their cotyledons will feed them well past this point anyway.

Once they outgrow the cube they go into their medium - I don’t know what you’re using since this is a new thread - I highly recommend posting updates to your OG thread so we, and you, have all the info about your grow in one place.

If you’re putting the seedling into soil, no nutes needed.
If info hydro, I start at 1/4 strength of my nutrients unless it’s Jack’s. They get full strength Jack’s from start to finish.
If in coco, treat like hydro.

Yes I’m in coco / worm castings, perlite, hempy pot , I apologize for the different thread I don’t understand the internet haha, I’m in a 2x4x5 tent with 2000 watt full spectrum LED’s , any and all advice is truly welcome, thanks again!!

You should be good to add low dose nutes if you’d like when you start watering them in the coco. No worries about the different thread, it will just be easier for you later down the road if it’s all in one place. Speaking from experience.

Do I leave the lid on the humidity dome? I’ve got one sprouted and the other hasn’t come out yet

Photos?

I can only take wild guesses but I’d assume if there’s a seed that hasn’t broken ground yet, leave it on.

Oh, yeah, get that into your coco now. Just plant her in her forever bed of coco and water in a wide ring around the Rockwool. That’s a beautiful tap root!

Need some direction, I’ve got a 2x4x5 tent (40)sq ft, the exhaust fan I’m using moves 280 m3/h , im growing ILGM Gold Leaf , with the tent closed the temps run upwards of 84-85ish maybe higher I’ve been too scared to let it go any longer than a couple minutes closed up , question is what’s a good temp for Gold Leaf thanks again

Also I’ve moved the exhaust fan to the floor by the pits , I have my thermometer sitting at plant height

I’m running 2 carambola 1000 watt full spectrum lights set on veg at a height of about 22”

Idk about Gold Leaf specifically but I think, generally, cannabis is pretty satisfied between 68-90°-ish. The higher the temps the more potential for heat stress, naturally.

Your exhaust should be up at the top of the tent, on the opposite side of your intake (or an open vent) which should be on the bottom. That will guide the fresh air up from outside the tent and exhaust the hot air from the lights etc out from the top (as hot air rises).

If your lights are running incredibly hot, try to get a fan blowing on the lights.

Got another question, I’m hoping to put this with a scrog net , should I somewhat bonsai it until it starts to head towards the net, or just let it go straight up then start weaving it in? I hope this doesn’t sound confusing, as I really appreciate the help! She’ll be 2 weeks tomorrow and it’s like jack and the beanstalk over here haha this is my first hydro, I let the kids get grown n gone , I was outdoors then I’m really digging this!!
