rh in my curing jar is at 65 but buds feel crispier than what they should, is this normal until they cure a bit and the moisture has time to even out through the buds
Sound like you may have over dried it
Givem a chance. The moisture will spread.
If you have not already give the meters 24 hours before you take a look at them they’re cheap and it takes them a little while to settle in. Good luck
yea im thinking this is the case bc i broke a nug up and just the very outside layer was crispy, rolled up and burned how it should pretty much- minus the nice taste bc its not cured yet lol
Keep us posted, I use the small Round ones and I’ve noticed it takes about 24 hours.
The moisture deep in the stems and flowers will “sweat” and even out. Unless you overly dried, then you can take a leaf or two and throw it in the jar until buds rehydrate a teeny bit.
The Grove Bags “breath” to maintain a steady 58-62% rh. If you can, get a wood moisture meter. Jabs it in the buds and check it. 10-12% moisture content is ideal to begin curing.
