Revised water ph problems

Old beat up leaves come off.

Leaves on top of leaves, older ones removed selectively.

Any of the largest leaves covering potential bud sites, remove selectively.

Come up about 1/4 of the height of the plant from the soil layer. Everything in that part of the plant can be stripped. This redirects energy where you want it. Don’t be afraid of the plant because if you mess up you can just let it recover before flipping. But I think it would be a very good idea to open it up to light and air.

Ok will give it a shot…I’ll send a pic after I do for feedback

Took your advice on thinning down…Ok so I mighta hacked her up a bit to much but there were all sorts of chutes in the middle and bottom that never woulda made it to the top etc…So here’s what she looks like today. Please give some feedback…needs more or less next time…

Definitely more air flow…I can see through her now… 5 gal fabric are still a tad heavy from Wednesday’s watering. So maybe tomorrow on the R.O only plus cal mag…

I’d say you did good. You’ll get some new growth down there during flower; just pinch them off to keep it clean. Are you on 12/12? Looks like you are getting some stretch.

No im still on 18/6 cuz had to whack down the BG and trying to veg her up and healthy before the flip. BG is the smaller auto i originally wanted help that I’ve had continuous problems with. She was yellowish green and now seems a little more darker green today…keeping fingers crossed on the ph and nutes.if she vegs up I’ll clean her up too but think need to veg and get some vertical growth.

…maybe try topping for more cola sites on the tall one while waiting for the BG to catch up ? Just read about that earlier…

You could, but be cautious of too large a canopy for the root mass to support. I’ve ‘over’ topped plants and had crappy yields as a result. I think your plant’s proportions are pretty good now with just some more LST like you’re doing. The auto I’d leave alone as far as training or trimming back. Let it finds it’s pace and just manage the plant so you get a harvest IMO.

It’s tough to see improvement as all of this growth will not really recover. You have to look at new growth to see that your measures are working.

Yes that is what I was anticipating but these seem to be NEW spots/ more colors than were appearing previously…but will stay the course
