Not enough drainage through the dirt as well as built up toxins that were left in the soil, plant wasnt flushed out completely
Ok I’ll fix that. Another reason that one took from July 11. To now from a seed. And had problems.
4out of 8 clones lived. I just got 2 seeds to sprout and more started.
Trying to get a cycle going ugh. Looking forward to this second grow, better lights and more knowledge and help.

My budget manure soil that kind of worked for me holds allot of water. I mixed last time perlite ( miracle grow). Should i get some rocks to mix with it? I had drainage problems. I put more holes in my bucket, now to work on soil. Any help is always grateful buddy.
That’s fine keep the questions coming that’s how you learn, I’d get moisture control dirt that protects against over and underwatering, or some kind of organic dirt, for seedling get specially formulated dirt for seedling and clones, it’s more a peat moss medium, so it’s kinda like hydro, MacG could explain how/why it’s like hydro I forgot why other wise id tell you. I’ve seen it in here some where, but seedlings partake really well in it and will go up to 5th-8th node until adding the nutrients it needs

I got a ph soil testing wand. 7 and one higher. Wish i would have known to test the tap water after moving. LOL lesson learned

My new sprout looks weird. My new soil mix ( wife wouldn’t let me get better soil) that cheap manure blend soil not meant for potting I’ve been using. Mixed with Miracle grow perlite, fish tank rocks, and some smashed clam shells. Heats about 83f-80f.
Oh man, so i took my soil pots into bath tub i had been using. Ran water through them. My old soil mix was almost not draining. Turned to thick marsh. This new mix i made drains really good.
Anyways just thought i up date ya buddy.
So i wouldn’t use this manure ever again. Ugh.
Ive never heard of it but using that id only mix a 1/4 cup with a small lot of dirt
Going to Wal-Mart, might be able to get soil.
Yea it says on it to mix the bag with yards of top soil and Roto till. Lol not to use for potting plants. Omg I’m an idiot cheap A$$ LOL

Checking in. Tasted good and on to more seeds i have. I have mixed my own soil together and it seems to work great.

I think this is from ak 47. But they got mixed up so i don’t know. After this I’m going to dispensary to get a clone so i know what it is and i can clone it.

Having better luck sprouting these old seeds in small cup of soil with plastic cover over it then using the jiffy pop plastic green house with the discs. I’ve never had luck with paper towel method either.
I usually throw them in a cup of luke warm water and within 48 hrs have a new plant lol

Oh cool, i had one sprout up in 48 hours once. I took a knife and scrapped the Rib of the seed er spine. Then kind of helped it open. LOL its still alive.
