Really stupid question

Beautiful girl! Thank you for the info! No one has ever told me about the pods. I definitely will do it!

Not sure what I did wrong. The 3 gorilla 2 only showed top of seed in jiffy pods & third came up with starter leaves but never progressed. It’s been 10 days so thinking about calling it a wash & starting 3 more so they can catch up to other 3.

Is it a possibility that ypu are over watering? Are you watering soil directly or do you have a humidity dome over them?

I’ve got them under a dome. I’m afraid I overwatered them but don’t understand why 3 are looking really good & the 3 gorilla didn’t. I was spraying them daily with distilled water. I discontinued doing so unless the top had dried out about 3 days ago but the small gorilla with just starter leaves hasn’t done a thing. She’s still green but not sure if she’ll make it. Live & learn🥴

These are some that i started a few days ago. It took an extra day or two for 3 of them to pop soil but theres my seedling setup

That’s really cool! Where did you get it? I’m having to use the one that came with the pods & it’s cheap plastic & starting to break.

The only gorilla that I had come up looks like your smallest & she’s been like tat for 10 days. Think she’ll grow?

The seedling trays are burpee with the silicon bottoms for easy transplant. The dome is a sterlite 32 quart storage bin flipped upside down. The light is a HLG300l BSpec for vegging. Give em a few days to dry out, keep the dome on and spray the dome

What do you think about the small gorilla? Should I just go ahead & drop 3 more or your honest opinion on the tiny one? Thank you so much for your advice. You’ve been Awesome!

@Laurap as long as shes green and hasnt started shriveling up and looks to still be thriving, give her a chance. If she starts turning a light green or starts curling them drop another seed. You wanna save $$ not spend it lol… ( of course im guilty on splurging on this hobby) its all paid for itself though… Happy Friyay!

I’m getting really frustrated with the gorilla glue seeds! Never had a problem with ILGM seeds. These are the latest I’ve bought. Figured I drowned the first 3 as only one popped up. The other 2 just came to top of pod with seed hull showing. Never did anything more. So I dropped 2more as from first 3 one did show some green & watered less. Last night 2 were up looking very well & appeared to be on their way. This morning they are laying over. What I don’t get is @ same time in beginning I dropped a Dosido, a godfather & a skywalker also purchased from ILGM that are already in solo cups looking well. It’s only the GG that won’t grow! Six seeds so far & looking like they will die as well. The 2 that had fallen over I placed a toothpick beside & gently tied it up but IDK. I’ve grow GG several times & Never had a problem. What the FxxK?

@Laurap
Hello
I also struggled with ILGM Gorilla Glue 4 auto seeds this year.

I contacted ILGM and outlined my germination process and pics. They replaced them no problem.

The replacement seeds sprouted nicely.

I gave a couple to a friend. I have one plant in my tent and it has turned out to be a monster.

Good luck with yours

IDN as they all made it to jiffy pots. It was like looking into a fish bowl & saw all your beloved fish floating on top! One of the 2 fallen has made it the other shriveled up & died. I got 7 gorilla glue’s to become ready to go into jiffy pods. If they broke through the pro mix I scattered on top, at all either they only showed tops of seed hulls never going any farther or had the hull stuck to plant upon breaking thru. then falling over with 2 eventually growing but in a day had fallen over… They would fall over within the first day of sprouting. I had to gently get the hull as they couldn’t get any light. I still have the 7th one in a jiffy pod but hope is sparse for her. She’s so tiny within 1st day she was over on ground so quickly I placed her in a solo cup as I did with like I had done with the 2 I was able to get to grow. I’m sending a pic but not sure you can see her due to size. Also are pics of my survival girls. Along side is a banana I dropped in pod as 2 days ago I truly started to fear for the lil ones life. Also my previous seeds I started same day.

Also, im going to make a suggestion, get rid of the jiffy cups. Those things hold too much moisture and hardly any drainage. That might be part of your issue with your seeds not popping or having issues once popped. Promix is just a basic medium. No nutes added.
