Really need your thoughts. ASAP

They are calling for frost tonight. Top three ft of plant is covered. Bottom four ft is wide and may be exposed. Should I cut bottom branches and bring in? I can do a rough trim and put branches in a cardboard box. It’s almost done. Was just waiting for a little more amber. Think 56% humidity 64degree F would be ok for curing? Really didn’t expect frost :disappointed: this soon :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Same here. It’s about 2 weeks early this year versus the average of the 3rd week in Oct.

Be aware that the trichomes on the lower part of the plant will cloud up later (by a week or 2) than those on the top. How many weeks has your plant been flowering?

At least eleven weeks. I wasn’t really keeping good count. I was going to go by the trichs. This is what they looked like approximately a week ago.

I was about to say the first frost should actually help, not hurt. Sorta like when the temps drop here, it signals the trees to finish up for the year lol.

A hard frost turns em brown. And some strains from colder areas wont seem to be affected but the Mowi Wowi will. Temps in the 20s for several hours will end growing season. Piling up hay around the base and blocking the wind prolongs harvest a bit, so im tole.

Good luck boys

I took some of the bottom nugs off just to play it safe, I hope.
