Ready to start a small grow first time

Learning to dry by hanging the full plant is a good experience anyways dank, most people hang the full plant for 7-10 days in the dark and then chop it down.

Always wet trim, this let’s you remove as much leaf as possible before the drying and the curing start. Wet trimming allows you to get lots of good shake/trim to make into oil, butter, shatter and also the leaf is what causes the hay smell.
You want that hay smell to go away and for the plant /buds to cure and bring out good smells. The more leaf the longer it all takes.
I dry trimmed once and will never do it again.
Also read up on a few places that give these reasons for wet trim as well.

What strain @DankGunslinger I forget, they are really red/purple probably from the flush and it starting to get deficiencys (a good thing)
Don’t sample it. Let it cure for a month probably 2 minimum.
Buy large glass Mason jars, humidtors and humidity packs. Place em in a dark area and burp them whe they go over 62% (I avoid the humidity packs for the first month because there is so much mosture it just needs to be burped so much more often otherwise you go through your humidity packs fast)

Great job man! Wahhoooo wicked first grow.
Now make sure you take a weight after it drys out.
Find out how much you got all in all

I’ve learned alot about controlling plant growth. Lst was the safe first attempt even tho I think I could have done a fim.

@Gremmall It was nerve wracking having the bone I did while pruning. They are skunky as all getup.

Congrats brother nice color, good luck on the dry/cure

Yeah didn’t realise I should have cut it while and hung it… oh well I guess this stuff is already nice so can only be better.

You don’t have to. Some prefer dry trimming.

I read someone say they thought it stunk less. Thx guys love you all. Appreciate the excitement here.

I think it has more to do with phenotype than anything. I’ve seen it both ways. I prefer wet trim just because it’s easier, lol

I’m getting 5OZ off my autos and they are 3 months from start to finish maybe a tad longer.
Your yeild looks like it’s going to be nice!!!

If you do decide to go autos make sure you remember that they don’t like to be stressed, no LST, topping, etc. Minor pruning even
