Best light for 200$?
Was almost set on the VIPARSPECTRA 600w.
If I do that then I’m going to run the 27"x27"x6’ tent.
But now I stumbled across the T5 lights. And there in my price range. And that could possibly bump me up to a 2’x4’ tent and 2 plants.
Any opinions or info is greatly appreciated!
Also any links or references material for soil and nutrients would be a huge help

If you’re sticking with the smaller tent, then I’d say the HLG 135w QB kit… if going with 2x4, then the QB 260w xw kit, but that’s over $200…

Dbrn has been helpful on another post. So any word from them is appreciated. @MattyBear that board is in my price range! I assume it’s suitable for a 27"x27"x6’ but I’m confused cause it’s low watts

Was pretty much same I said in other journal.
I don’t think your harvest potential in a 2x4 with a fluorescent light will be a lot more than a 2x2 with a quantum board. But that’s just my opinion, based on my experience.
@StephenBro A lot of people will tell you to get the biggest space you can. I’m ok with that, but you also have to realize the bigger space costs more to set up well. It doesn’t matter to me if you spend a couple thousand or a couple hundred on your entire grow room. You just need to have reasonable expectations of what your setup is capable of producing.

When I first started researching I wanted big. Until I got to the lights lol I’m going to go with the QB and the 27"x27" tent. I’m only expecting a few ounces that’s all I need. Anymore than that and I’ll be ecstatic

I just put the HLG-135 in the same size tent and I am very happy with it so far. I will know more in a couple weeks as I’m going to start flowering under it this weekend. I am confident that it will do me fine.

@StephenBro Attached is a picture of my tent with the 135. I have it turned up about 70% right now. It took me a minute to figure out why it looked so dark, then I realized it was the reflection of the pots. Trust me, this light has everything it needs for a 2x2 tent. I’m would not hesitate to purchase another should the need arise.

Thanks @Bubblehead from yours, others and Amazon reviews I have decided to go with that QB instead of the blurple. I’m very excited to order it soon. You can get away with 2 plants is a 2x2?

The t5 grow light from amazon is good I have one sunrises I have 10 to 15 plants under it it’s fine tell u hit bud but some ppl say they can grow bud with it if it’s the one off amazon it heats up bad but great for seeding and clones veg
T5 would be stronger it’s 230 wAtts I think 
how many watts is that light
I don’t think so. I’m going to eliminate one this weekend. The only reason I’ve kept it alive this long was for the experience.

Yea T5 4foot off amazon stock is 230 watts 53 a bulb it’s going for 115 witch is steal compared to when I bought it there’s even two footers
Go with what works for you. This is my first grow and I am very pleased with the results so far from these lights. Plus, many of the threads show great yields with these lights. I know if I was going to buy another light I would buy a third HLG, yes I already have two.
