First pic is a Girl Scout cookie auto and second pic is Bruce banner auto. Think they are ready for being put in 48 hrs of darkness?

Hard to tell from the pics how long have they been in flower? And can you send a pic of the whole plant? Or most.

Yeah, tough to tell anything from that pic. A view of more of the plant would help. Do you have a jewelers loupe or scope? Look at the bud, not the sugar leaves. Want to see what color the trics are. Shiny trics clear, not ready. Want to see milky white trics. Unless you want couch lock, then you wait for them to turn amber.

I leave for vacation in 2 weeks. Ugh. I was hoping to harvest/dry/bag this one and the Bruce banner before vacation
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
Depending on how long your vacation is, you could harvest and hang them to dry then trim and cure when you get back.
To get them to dry slower you could try to hang the whole plant. More stuff to dry could help give you a longer dry time.

I’m worried about leaving them drying when I’m not around. My drying area is less than ideal.
Do you use a stand or cut a sample? Heard those are a pain freehand
Definitely another couple weeks. A lot of white pistols. They’ll all go brown/red and retract in to the flower when you’re getting close.
