Hi all,
I need some guidance.
I want to reveg a plant that’s nearly done flowering, it’s a mandarin zskittles and I’ve made a fair few mistakes on my grow but it’s still producing some lovely stuff so would like to see what a tent full of these look like with less mistakes.
Its currently in a 15L pot and my plan was to harvest/cut it back, leave a few small bud sites, then re pot it into a smaller pot, like an 8L fabric one with some fresh soil amended for veg. Does that sound right?
Then I’m giving to someone to look after, will they need a tent or can they just grow it in the open like a house plant with a low watt led and a clip fan near it for some air flow?
Hope this question don’t seem to stupid, never had a mother plant or took clones before
Pull flowers but leave some fan leaves when harvesting, sit her in 18-6 for a while and give her light feedings eventually she’ll start growing again
I’d just flip the lights back to 18/6 after I cut the buds and let it ride.
Too much shock to the system might just kill her.
If you need to re-pot I’d wait until I was sure she was back to veg.
It’s probably one of those things, she might survive just fine, or she might not. I would think the less stress to the plant the better the chances it’ll re-veg.
I think you could do it outside of a tent IF she’s getting a strong enough light source and it’s on it for more than 12 hrs at a time.
Just my thoughts…
I know in my life the less stress I have the more I actually want to do something! LOL!
Best of Luck!!
i see why you want to clone her - beautiful buds and colors!!

I’ve revegged many once, but won’t do it more than once anymore as for some reason around round 3 the plant becomes less potent or at least my blue dream did.
I agree with @Tylersays and wouldn’t repot at least not untill your in veg.
I cut my buds and left 3 nodes on each stalk and my fan leaves and chopped the top of the buds on the 3 remaining nodes.
At each bud site where I chopped the buds in half they came back out like I fimmed the suckers. I got like 8 branches the started growing back out of each bud!
I doubt I reveg anymore as any loss of potency is not my cup of tea.
Good luck!

I’ve had that happen in the past; almost like the plant went through some kind of senescence. On the other hand, I’ve kept plants through several reveg cycles before and we’re just as good…maybe even a tad better in the trichome department.
No idea why some of them experienced “senescence”, but now I’m wondering why. I always chalked it up to something I did to strain the plants.
