From a fellow grower: I need to know what to use for potash for my girl scout cookies I used blood and bone mill for my nitrogen and phosphorus do I use sulfate potash or muraited potash.

I just use hard wood ash from my fireplace, but very tiny amount and mix well into the soil so if you splash water, it doesn’t splash on to the leaves.
I’m sure there are better answers out there though

Hi.You want to use sulfate potash.Langbeinite would be a good choice.Good luck.

I would use the sulphate potash. I have used ashes from my fire place once before. Make sure you follow the recommended usage if your in soil. A high potassium will throw your ph way off
