Question about clones and age

It’s been 17 days since I’ve had these clones, when I got them he said he just clipped them and put them in solo cups a couple days before I got them from him.

My question is- how do you determine how old they are? Meaning weeks? I just want to know when I should start giving nutes and how far down the line I go before flipping lights to 12/12 for flower

.

Thank you

They all look great so far

Good morning. Technically your clones are whatever age the Mother plant(s) are/were. For me a bigger question is the root system. Once you’ve got an established root ball depending on your soils current nutrient level you could theoretically start feedings. Read the runoff with a tds pen to determine. If the nodes (branches) are staggered the clones are likely sexually mature and can be flipped at your choice of growth heights.

So basically I can flip whenever I’m ready. That’s cool thanks

Different strains will ‘stretch’ after the flip to 12/12 flowering and may double in height so a lot of growers focus on available height in their grow spaces.
