Whats up grow fam… Happy friday
So I grew a cereal milk plant outdoors in ny. I harvested about a week ago. So about 2 weeks ago I noticed one bud looked messed up. Googled it. Bud rot… damn. So I cut the 1 bud off. My question is do I have to throw away the rest of my buds thar I harvested or can they be good? I dont see any rot but some buds are slightly brownish but I dont smell anything musty and the buds actually smell real gassy!! But im still nervous as I seen some posts say get rid of the whole plant. Any thoughts fam?
Post some pictures if you can should help a lot I would just be sure to double check them over and possibly do a bud wash before you dry I’m sure some others have some. Better info tho

Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately I already dried them and have them in grove bag already. But I will post some pics

Just concerned cause I see a little brown on some places but it may be just the weed.
I also still have the branches and none of them are brown or soft or rotten looking cause I heard bid rot also infects the stems
never had bud rot myself, but everything i’ve read says to break open the buds and look for rot inside.
bud rot starts from the inside out.
if any doubt, throw it out!

Check dark spots, upper right looks suspect, but could be just dark hairs/pistiles

Thats the thing. I read that also but when I break it open I dont see anything strange and I read that it would be rotted and soft but it makes a nice cracking sound when I break it open. I dobt know what to do. Lol
There are some dark red hairs definitely but some of the smaller leaves are a little brownish. Could that just be the color of the weed itself? I dont smell moldiness

i would assume that it is good then if nothing looks bad when you open it up.
maybe you caught it fast enough.
i’d wait for more experienced growers to respond first though.

Unfortunately, some experience with bud rot.
It usually stands out as a different color compared to the rest of your healthy bud.
If it looks the same colors its probably good.

The inside looks normal. It cracks open with a slight crisp sound. Like i said i was just nervous cause like 2 buds definitely had bud rot like 2 weeks before i harvested and i keep reading that if it was on a bud or could of effected the entire plant
