Pruning Gold Leaf Plant in a Hydroponic Tent to Prevent Height

We have 5 Gold Leaf seeds and want to grow in a Tent. The tent is 2 metres high and 1.2 x 1.2m. How many plants could we put in there. Robert mentioned pruning and Green Screen method, what is that and how do you do it? Have not been able to find any information on it.

Beats me, does Bergman even grow?

Scrog or screen of green

Pruning methods would include but not limited to:

  • Topping
  • Fimming

Or light stress training methods

  • Lst
  • Manifold (process of tying down not aspect of topping to split branches I would include that in pruning)
  • Supercropping

These training methods with a scrog net and proper care of your plants you could easily grow 1 in a space that size

Tents plenty big you could fit all five. Or you could fill it with two. How long do you want to veg before flowering? Would you rather grow fewer larger plants or more smaller plants?

Welcome!

If you make no training at all… 5 will fill the tent nicely… maybe a little on the tight side

If this is your first ever grow. And your not courageous about manhandling your girls I would go with 4 like that you wont run into any space ploblems. And you have a seed left for your next run where you can try the diffrent training techniques and fill the same tent with just one plant.

Peeps here will walk you trough any techniques you like if you provide pics and questions…

This is my flowering tent same size as yours… Let’s form the metric squad…

There is one trained plant 3 clones and 9 solocup clones in there. It’s very crowded and will get worse…

That is the one I trained to give you an idea…

You want the real deal look out for sensei @Arrow 's Labour of love thread.

Happy growing

Are you familiar with the photoperiod of your plant?

You will have to consider your limited hight, and without training that means flipping your light schedule at the right time.

Yes, thank you :slightly_smiling_face:
