id really love to try an indoor gold leaf, my outdoor gold leafs are always incredible, enough cant be said for these genetics, my question is, with a bit of LST, is it possible to grow one in a small tent? 2x4? even if its one plant? I usually do autos in there but man i really wanna give this a try, anyone grown one in a smallish tent? thanks!

does it require a ton of maintenance? looks great btw, man i love the GL but bud rot killed me this year not a single plant made it to term, still got some great buds tho

The scrog takes care of all the maintenance. All you really need to do during veg is keep tucking the branches back under the net. The net will spread out the bud sites and also serve as a support system once they pack on the weight.

Thank you for that. I’ve actually been trying to figure out just how to use the scrog method properly. Wasn’t sure if you simply let the plants grow up through it and then trim underneath or more as you just described it

so is scrog just a net across the canopy? sorry never done one before
also when you say 2x2, how tall is that tent??

You top the plant and as tops start growing through the net you push them back under to another square. Continue that until you get the net 50-60% full. Then flip to flower and continue to fill the net during the flower stretch.
That frame is a 2x2. The plant is in a room that is 9’ tall. The plant is only about 3’ tall.

@Sherlockhomie I agree gold Leaf genetics Rock Solid,
I have grown several Gold Leafs a picture of 2 in a 4x4 space. Go for it spread them out, tuck a few leafs an take a few.

Nah, man. She’s a breeze. The gold leaf required extra magnesium but the GDP hasn’t hasn’t complained about a thing.
