Lol! You keep saying you are gonna do a CoCo soon for a while now. Isn’t it about time you stopped saying gonna and soon? E
Hehe!
Yeah, I’ma see how it goes with the low frequency fertigation before I do high frequency. Just saying. I was never more excited than when I pulled all the hoses out of there the other day. Frfr.
Mucho runoff rule still applies!!!
Coco run is coming, I only have the two grow spaces and every time I grow from seed, I always grow out at least one run of clones, so I’m in the short rows on these clones, then going to start a seed run, THEN we’ll drop some coco love and see how I like it. If it’s like Promix without the ph swings, I will have found my new favorite media……
I pretty much have the same dilemma. Can I flush coco with 7.0pH and 400ppm then come back on the end with Jacks at 6.0 / 800ppm?
I would just ph my feed at 6.0 and normal EC, then run enough through them to get that same in runoff, then your media is completely reset . Then ph and feed normally but with extra runoff.
RO amounts will still apply. That’s part of my plan now.
Nope. Look great! I would like a pastry too please.
Looking good. Stop worrying so much and just let them grow up a tad. I think they are catching your axiousness like an observant dog can. You are on the way to an awesome grow. Confidence.
Haha! I’m not sharing me donuts! I figured I mayaswell pay up because I was gonna lose his bet anyway.
Awww… Thanks You. You are probably right.
I’m kinda late but I’m tuning in!
How ya been ?
much better already huh? I’ll get the other 11 when they finish out ! Lol
Why would you not increase runoff when you were getting build up?
Duuude… I was getting out waaay more than any 20%. I would put in 1.5 of my little watering tin and get every bit of that back every time I watered. I sooo know how hard it is to believe that, but the object in the attached photo are my can and what the RO went into each time. The Muffin pan would be just about 1/2" from the top when done dripping. And I did water at least 4x a day most days 5x. Depending on how big the bags were that each was in dictated how much water I would give them each time. Like 2 tins to a 7g, 1.5 to the 5g, and 1 to the 3g. Now, one thing I did NOT do that I was most definitely told to do, was that I didn’t water a little bit and let them set and then water some more. I just watered and be done with it. I spent more time in the basement than anywhere and I rarely actually sleep for more than 3 or 4hrs a day, if I’m lucky. I was probably down here 18-20hrs a day. The watering consumed me. It got to the point where I started just automatically flushing them once a week. T
To the numbers I wanted, then the next day they were effed again. Hell, I spent a small fortune on calibration solutions thinking my $200 meter was off all the time. The plants consistently also looked great, I thought. They were thriving. I just couldn’t understand whet the problem was. Never did figure it out. The funny thing was that I started 4 autos in the middle of it and not on e were there numbers off and they all sucked and didn’t produce a darn thing.
So there you have the rest of the story on that.
I can tell you that pouring it straight thru will not wet the coco fully! That’s why I suggested pouring in water, wait 10 minutes and water again. You could try a wetting agent such as yucca, but slow watering is needed in coco when it dries back between watering. Coco is made to stay wet, mabey we need to get you in Promix, so you water every 3 days or so , and it’s meant for a drench to drought water style. Come on over to the Promix side, you might like it! Lol
So here are some photos of the root balls on 3 Agent Orange Plants. Each was in the 5gal bag. Seeing these do you still think I should not go to 7gal bags? I’m making sure because I’m down here about to fill the bags for their forever homes and don’t want to fill up one size and then do it over and have that many more bags needing washed.
I thought I had 3 different ones there. May have messed up and have 2 of the same plant.
