I’m at 6 weeks into flower. I water about a gallon once a day to runoff. I can see the moisture in the fabric pots.
Just that one spot is probably some anomaly? I used the vivosun drip system when we went out of town at Christmas. It worked really well. I can tell mine is starting to drink more. Im trying to learn to read the plant so I vary a little bit from day to day. Alaways water/feed once a day after work.
That’s cool. Fo you think I should clip the one leaf just incase?
A gallon a day for 1 plant?
I would leave it as long as it’s still green.
Brutiful. Lol!.
Ok. So @OGIncognito That’s a cool looking pup you have there. What Breed is it? Kinda favors a Weimer Reiner but is all wrong for one. Definitely the colors but the build is much more stocky and I’ve never seen another breed with that shade of blue grey coat.
@Growdoc @noddykitty1 @SausageMahoney @SolomanGrundy @merlin44 @everyfreakinbody, if only it were that easy. Here’s my deal rn… I was getting all positive and maybe even on the verge of being giddy, lol, right up until I started comparing this grow #4 with my last 3 botched ones and it is on par, growthwise, with my Growme #2, which was the one, if anybody recalls, with the 8 bags of dirt with at least 2 types of weirdo worms, and/or other creepy crawlers that I could not use and didn’t know enough to not put my seedlings into the same dirt as Growme #1 had been in without any type of reclaiming it first, and it would up being the worst yet. (And breathe, hoa, hoa). I was really starting to think that this was the one in which I would find that success I’ve been striving for and now I’m all discouraged.
Cheer me up, please???
Here’s how today, day #20, went. I didn’t water in until late, like 10pm. Lots of going on here in… Damned if I didn’t forget my name. Yep, one of those days. In shuregreen’s world. Yeh, that’s who I are. Geesh. So I watered in late at 5.9/1.11(760).
RO’s were: #1= 5.9/1.08(730). #2= 5.3/1.02(690). #3= 5.1/1.11(760). #4= 5.0 or 5.6/1.01(720). So except for the pH, which seems to run super low with me for some reason, the rest of the numbers look alright, yeah?
I have roots showing at the sides and bottoms of all 4, albeit #'s 3 and 4 only barely.
I think #'s 1 and 2 look pretty good and all have a very nice color.
Seems the remediation for the Calcium Deficiency of #1 has worked well so far. Can I pull the 2 ugly leaves on it off now so I don’t have to see them?
I’ve had to return the humidifier to the tent. Yesterday it was down to 78°f and rH of lime 32%! This evening it was 82°f and 53%, so I turned it up to the 3 when I closed the tent. The light is on 25% now and set about 15" above. The meters reads them at 500 umohls of PPFD? PAR? Which is correct, please? I don’t want to be saying it wrong and looking stupid.
So yeah, seems like since I discovered my errors those first 2 days they are doing ok, but I do so want better than ok. So yeah, cheer me up please?
I see nothing to worry about dear. Look a little droopy but look rather healthy. The nodal interspace is kinda tight. Might raise the light a little to get some stretch? I dont see any leaves I would cut. I only trim leaves that are dying or blocking tops.
Your plants look good. Just remember, often times, less is more.
That means let the plants grow, they know what to do.
Greetings
Looking good! I didn’t see anything that I would see as usual. Nice plants!
Don’t let the environmental conditions keep you awake at night. Just try for the recommend numbers. Not many of us achieve perfect numbers. I have grown a sour diesel in my garage in the summer with limited conditions just to see if I could because of your concern. Guess what that autoflower produced 6.5 ounces of great bud, not big or pretty bud but potent for my medical condition. Relax its to be relaxing.
The only suggestionI have no big deal you are fine, tryto use grow bags on your next grow. I use on my grow below, it air trims the roots

Sausage Mahoney knows his stuff trust in him.
Keep them pretty.
Take care have a blessed one.
Bella was a Wiemeraner and unfortunately she passed several years back. She was a road warrior and kept me company for 12 years traveling the south east
Ah Damn, @OGIncognito . I hate hearing. I can definitely relate. Way to honor her dude.
Thanks you guys. Noddy and I were talking about that node spacing the other day, and I do think it’s time to address it. I’ll deal with that when I get back up.
Also, I still have to do 1 more xplant… i been trying to rinse some CoCo but doing it inside in the tub is a whole other ballgame than doing it outside. Frfr. But they will go into 7lb bags when I do. I only use these treat bowls because that are a good 2nd pot.
Welp, I do believe ima go back to sleep. Yay Sleep!
They are a nice shade of green, look fine so far. Looking at your ph , you might want to ph your feeds at around 6.0-6.2 and give them some extra runoff. The low ph suggests some salt buildup and extra runoff will help flush that out. I wouldn’t worry about node space right now, I like them thick, more buds, less stems!
@Growdoc I hear ya. Heck yeah. My pH throughout that last, and my 1st CoCo, grow was way lower than what I put in as well. But my EC were ALWAYS through the roof. I think during the whole thing maybe 4x was it lower than 1700 and mostly up closer to 2300! I had major RO and was watering in at least 4x a day. I consistently would put in between 5.9 and 6.3 and the RO reads would be closer to 5.0 mostly. Now last night, I note that #1 is nearly exactly out what I put in. ??? No clue why one would be different.
I will definitely take your words and put them into actions. Higher pH and water in more liquids.
As far as the closeness of the nodes, I totally get your point. I too would love to have more bud and less stem, but I would also kinda like to be able to count the nodes in this beginning, maybe up to 10, to see when they start alternating on the stalk, and to be able to physically see that there are truly 2 suckers per node. These things are kind of like learning hurdles for me. Now once I get to notate those 3 things it’s all gravy. What say you about that? Ok? No? Shut the eff up and do as you’re told? Lol! Just teasing. I am tired and it’s veen a long day and that made me smile. So all good.
OK, here we go! The next 3-4 days when you feed them, I want you to mix feeds at 1.4 EC and 6.0-6.2 ph. I want you to give them the amount of water you have been, then wait 5-10 minutes and give them that much again, taking runoff readings from both waterings . By the third day, I’ll bet you a box of Krispy Kreme’s your numbers will start to fall in line if not right on the money. You are getting buildup in the coco from not giving them enough volume of water at a time. Coco needs LOTS of runoff to keep the salts flushed out of the media. You can also just run enough of your feed mixture through them until the numbers coming out match what you put in very closely. That’s what I would do if it were me and then just increase your runoff amount each time. Once the numbers are good, you can increase EC to 1.6-1.7, but continue heavy runoff. Did I mention you need more runoff? Lol
I usually don’t say that sort of thing unless there’s some hair pulling and choking going on! LMAO
@Growdoc Well, I have been known to enjoy a good throat, yeah, nevermind…
So I think I will do the 1st suggestion, since I don’t follow others well. I will be xplanting as soon as 3 and 4 roots have gotten to where 1 and 2 are now. They will all go into 7lb bags. I think that’s plenty big enough. Last time I had two of the Agent Orange in 5lb bags and the roots struggled for space. What do you think?
If you’re doing frequent fertilization in coco, I wouldn’t go bigger than 5 gallon pots. That’s plenty. Some use 3 gallons with good results. I use 3 and 5 gal pots and bags, can’t really tell a difference with Promix or coco…… I’m going to do a coco run soon, already bought coco and everything, will run one with it after my seed run.
