Pretty bad nute burn 4 weeks into flower

So im growing autos in coco and they’re about 4 weeks into flowering. I water everyday with 1000-1200 ppm water ph’d to 5.8-6.2. I always water til about 10% runoff. Well i noticed them turning crispy today more than usual and about a month back i had a nute burn problem and i flushed and thought well they’re probably crispy from the past burn. Well i decided to check my runoff ppm and it was 5k😅. Immediately took them out and flushed. I used florakleen to make sure I dissolved any salts still left in. My question is will i be able to bounce back? I have about 4 weeks left of possible flowering and i wanna know what my course of action should be. The plants are actually still packing on buds and trichomes but im worried theyre not going to make it.

Forgot to ask this. I got my ppms to 600-700 after flushing and i needed a TON of water to get there so the plants are super saturated. I have my res water mixed at 650 ppm ready for my next feed, but should i wait for the coco to dry out a good amount? Like should i skip a day of watering or no?

Looks to me as if there is a issue starting to form. My suggestion is just give it ro water or PhD calmag water only no nutes at all. Soak the piss out of it make sure u get all clear good water coming out the other end of the pot lol. Then follow thru with a lighter feed. There is a lockout or something so where causing the leaves to look like saw blades. Either a lockout causing it or there is a deficiency happening. If it on coco I’d def get a water run thru it and then follow right after with a feed. Have a fan blowing right on the fabric pot as it will help it dry out a little bit faster also. Don’t let coco dry out really at all or it can cause some bad things to happen if the root zone gets dry patches and kills off roots. Beautiful plants tho

Flush them good and once u have done that give them a light feeding first and the next few days u can up ur nutrients but i wouldnt be goin by what it says on the bottle use at least half or what they recommend and it looks like u need to defoliate ur plants i would take off most of the badly burnt leaves.i do autos i use to use bottle nutrients but ive swapped to organics you have less nute burn and less deficiencies and less headaches

Keep pH between 6-6.3 during flower.

Make sure your getting at least 20% run off every feed. The high numbers in run off make me think this isn’t happening. Which I’d bet is causing the pH around the roots to get all crazy. pH issues, the plant can’t eat, those salts build, leads to lock out. then you start seeing deficiencies…

If your ppms spike a couple hundred points over what you put in on average the next feed should be 50% strength, this should drop your ppm enough to full feed next time.

@SilvaBack203 i cannot accept that title but thank you!

How do you guys handle that much runoff everyday? I do water til waste but only about 10%. Ive flooded my tent 4 times since startimg using coco lol and idk how people do this regularly.

Amd should i feed today or wait til it drys a little?

When I top fed I had catch trays under my plants and shop vac or big syringe to empty the water. I grow in coco and feed daily to 20% run off to prevent as all have stated lock out due to salt build up in the root zone. Your run off should be within 300 and less of what you’re putting in with 30” being on the high side. Higher numbers coming out of what your putting in is lock out and they’re not taking in the nutrients. @low gave you some solid advice as well as the others. Seems like we all have the same general consensus :love_you_gesture:

Shop vac is a great idea, im going to try that.

It’s a back saver, I bought a little 2 gallon cheapy after getting tired of the syringe method.

I just watered with light nutes, ppm going in 650, going out 630-650 range. Before it was going im around 1000-1100 ppm, coming out 5.5k  so im on the right track i think.

I have one more question for anyone still following this post. I just fed with 800 ppm and got 750-800 runoff which is good for me. But i ph to 6.2 and my runoff ph is 6.7, is that really going to matter? My catch pans arent the cleanest so idk if thats throwing my ph off or if it is really 6.7.

in coco - oh my! did you not water enough to get good runoff? Like Low said, if you don’t it builds up.

Next couple of feeding/watering Use the PH low range of 5.8-5.9 for several feedings. Your 6.7 is not so bad that you can bring that down gently with no adverse effects :love_you_gesture:
