I may get the 48x48x80 for a few more bucks, just wasnt sure if I would need that much space. @Hogmaster
@JayMan You just use 1 carbon filter correct? And it works that well?
@garrigan62 Thank you for the welcome! So would you say that if I have a fan and carbon filter for the tent to air out, I would only need a fan and ducting for the air cooled hood?

I use 1 500mm Phat Filter for a tent the size you say you’re getting and it works perfectly. I’m 28 days into flower and can’t smell a thing, even in the room my tent is in.

Yes you’ll need a fan at the hood to force heat out. Depending on how far or long your ducking is. You may need one more fan at the end.
Then you’ll need two more fans. One to draw freash air in and one to draw it out. I know it get pricie. you won’t need a carbon filter for the hood. you are correct.

Alright @garrigan62! Thanks for your help, Do you think the 36x36x76 tent will be a good size for me? Im planning on just growing 1 or 2 plants with the scrog technique. If everything goes according to plan, how long would you say it would take to get a full canopy of leaves in the tent with 2 plants? And how much would it yield

Few questions from a prospective grower

  1. Using X2 1200W LED lights (700 actual watt) what size tent do you recommend? and how many plants?
    (I have read up on this, but there are lots of different opinions as i’m sure you know)
  2. what sort of carbon filter do you advise me getting, I need UTTERLY no smell, and minimal noise ideally.
  3. What else do I need bro? besides the obvious pots, medium, timmers bla bla
  4. Will I need 2 fans for intake and outtake of air? or does one do the job for a reasonably small op?
  5. How well do carbon filters generally work, do they genuinely suck air from the tent, and produce non (THIS GUYS GROWING BLOODY CANABIS!) air out?
