Wondering what is optimal for my auto that is 4 days into preflower. Like what temp, rh and light cycle. I’ve read 24/7 but I also read 18/6 just wondering what to do.
Using led (blurple)
What do you mean by preflower? If it has pistils its beginning to flower, an auto won’t hold itself in vegetative state under longer light schedule like a photo period plant. You can technically flower them under any schedule, and would need to know ppfd average of your space to get an exact time to hit suggested daily light integral. Without getting super technical, somewhere between 12 and 18 hours is probably ideal for a first grow. A lot of people seem to be pretty happy with 12 hours of light. But if your light intensity levels are weak, you may lack in yield.
If you’re growing with leds I’ve found best temp to target around 80f. There’s some data suggesting a little higher would be ideal, but you won’t give up a lot running kinda in the middle there. If you’re flowering, I try to keep rh at 50% or less.
That basically covers it. Try to keep nutrients in check
Thank you I’ll start a lights off schedule this weekend
I run 12/12 on all my autos once flower begins and yield is just fine
