Got a few odd patches, not sure what’s going on, any ideas, thanks
Does it rub off? What is the humidity in your grow space? Do you mist the leaves? Are you using a humidifier with tap water?
Yes, it does easily wipe off.
Humidity about 46%
Not misting, no humidifier
What is the temperature inside your tent. It appears to be mold. But with humidity that low it’s strange. Do you have good air flow into your grow space with a in-line fan pulling fresh air in and exhausting out. What’s the humidity in your lung room
So I just picked these up, i did not start them. There was no tent just a section of room closed off with drapes. Plenty of airflow but the plants were all bunched together. I do not know actual temp / humidity. There was a cheap meter, sold at the counter for like $5 that he had and it read as 46% rh the temp is at least 65-70. The room was a bit humid probably due to the amount of palnts. There was no push / pull system just a ceiling fan on low and a smaller fan on the side.
This them at my place now
They need a fan circulating the air and blowing toward bottom of plants. Glad you have the fans going. I would order a decent humidity tester due to the importance of humidity in a grow. During the veg stage I keep mine 55/65% at flower I drop it to 40-45. Plants look good and healthy. I would watch them close to see if they get better now that they are in a new environment
I would spray it with peroxide in case it is some form of mold. My suspicion is white powdery mildew. Peroxide will resolve it immediately. If not, then you have a different problem on your hands. Increase airflow in the grow space and call it a day. Keep us posted.
How are your temps at night?
Even at a lower RH, if your temps go below the dew point at night you may get some condensate on the leaves. Hence the weird spot pattern of the powdery mildew I suspect. Normally it looks like a kindergardener painted the leaf with white paint (PM), but I bet some dew point condensate would cause a spotted PM pattern like that there.
Not actually sure about night time temps, have not measured, just got the plants and set them up in a shed that is not temp. controlled. Temps at night are high 30’s to mid 40’s right now so I set up a small heater. I’ll be taking a couple temp. measurements over the weekend to see where things are at
You’ll want to get a handle on PM ASAP as it can be very difficult to get rid of.
Type of thing where you may think you have it solved and boom at the first bit of moisture and the PM comes right back.
I got some capt. Jacks ready to use spray to treat and have trimmed a few leafs off
