I have a 3X3 grow tent. There is 4 photoperiod plants ready to go. 15-20% amber. Vegetative was 65 days. Has been flowering 60 -days. I started late flushing as usual. I have these in 5.5 gallon air pots. Have run pure DI water with 10-15 mls of sledgehammer in each pot. (4 gallons of Ph’ed in each pot. I have only got down to 600 ppm. I this going to be low enough to harvest? Thanks in advance ….
Flushing is bro science. Scientific studies show no significant impact on end results. I feed until harvest day and still great smoke.
Thanks info, controversial subject.
The only way for you to decide is to do 2 different plants. Same strain. At harvest, flush 1 and dont flush the other. Dry and cure. See if you tell a difference. I grow organic and those girls are still snackin when they graduate.
Flushing was scientifically proven to not make much if any difference. If you research up here you will find a link to the study. I tend to not flush my tomatoes peppers or other vegetables either. Not a single tobacco farmer flushes his fields. Just my thoughts right or wrong. Individuals choice.
Thanks for insight, one problem I see with my grow is I do a lot of organic in veg state, but highly synthetic in flowering and they never go hungry lol. I have 2 plants of same genetics, I’m going to harvest one in back at 600 ppm, after 4 1 gallon flush already. As I harvest that one I’ll continue to flush one in front and see if I can detect any difference. Thx for food for thought!
Sounds interesting show us what ya got going on.
The logic makes sense to me
I’m in the not flushing camp. I also grow organic.
Why would you go organics half the grow and synthetic the other half? Is it due to cost?
Not due to cost at all, not familiar with organics but I will research that now. When mix fertilizer water sometimes I use 7-10 different chemicals to get to final ppm’s. I’m not sure if I’ll have that versatility with organics. Research is on. Always keep open mind sometimes 10 different ways to get to end game.
@HippieRunner1 definitely has some awesome organic grows. Check out his thread he has some monsters
