Advice on autoflower, late in flowering

I have 1 grow under my belt, I gave a sample to my supplier who I buy from - dude grows amazing weed. He said he could taste that the bud wasnt flushed and it wasnt. So this time around I have this auto flower in a 7gl smart pot, super soil as medium, and currently at 8 weeks of life. I see some of my leaves are having their sugars pulled from them. What would you suggest as a good guess before flushing? I watered today with ph balanced 6.6 tap water because soil was dry.

I can tell as well when a harvest hasn’t had a good flush. So I do see the validity of doing one.

Here’s what I do:

When my plant gets close (within two weeks) of harvest, depending on media I will start to run straight R/O and monitor the TDS of the runoff. When it hits my target then it’s time to make the chop. In soil under 300 ppm, in coco, Promix or Hydro, under 100 ppm.

My cured flower is like smoking Unicorn farts haha.

I have a PPM meter I have yet to use, because I havnt gotten a drip tray but im gonna do a PPM test next watering to see whats going on in the soil. I should of done it today! >.<

Sorry, I don’t flush… the toilet!

Jk.

I wouldn’t know the difference. It’s my understanding that if you are using organic super soil without any chelated nutrients a flush is not needed.

I second what @AAA said. Not needing to flush was part of the draw to using super soil. I don’t flush my plants and it always smokes pretty good.

On my first grow I didn’t do a flush using the ff trio. You could definately could taste the nutrients and it was really harsh to smoke.

I second that. Just plain water for the last two weeks. Always comes out nice and smooth without the hassel of flooding your plant with gallons of water

Thank you all for the replys, I’m going to water with distilled water from now on until its finished - from my noob eye possibly 2 weeks.

I will necro this thread with a taste update!
