Plants seem to have stalled-Northern Lights autoflower

From a fellow grower:After purchasing my Northern Lights auto seeds, the slow growth seems very odd. Yesterday marked exactly one month that my first two girls sprouted in their forever home. At less than 3” in height, and barely 2 nodes……I’m wondering how these will ever grow to be anything more than just a sprig. I’ve included some pictures, perhaps you can lend an opinion as to why these girls just refuse to grow. They look healthy, my temps are mid 70’s to mid 80’s and plenty of sun. I’ve ph’d my water since day one to between 6.4 and 6.5. Watering has been as frequent as 3 days and the longest 5 days. I use the finger test as well as the weight (lifting the pots) test. I’m stymied, they sprouted so nicely in the soil and looked so healthy.

Everything about that soil looks like it should work fine. But here I see evidence that the plant is not getting food. The original baby leaves…cotyledons…are turning yellow. That means the plant has already taken the nutrients from them to use for growth. I would suggest a slurry test to see if the pH is within range and also what kind of PPMs are in the soil. Lots of YouTube vids on how to do that.

If possible I might just suggest transplanting into a cannabis friendly soil like Happy Frog or Ocean Forest. Loss of time with an auto is a factor and production may be diminished but if its not growing then you have little to lose by trying a transplant into better soil.

I agree, something is not right. I would replant into happy frog, or ocean forest and see what happens. You’re not getting anywhere there.

I’m gunna say the soil, kind of sounds like a cheap ish garden Center soil? I’ve used them before and they either nuke the plants or suffocate the plants, I’ve used bio bizz ever since with great results but I’m uk so alot of people here use happynfrog or ocean forest like said above :pray:t2:

My NL stalled for about a month just after getting it’s 1st true leaves so it may be a strain thing? Have fun!

Agree with all stated from @Spiney_norman. Medium looks really dry, what’s your watering routine and frequency :love_you_gesture:

We do not recommend Ocean Forest for seedlings or autoflowers, as it is a bit hot.

Fox Garms Happy Frog is for seedling, I think.
I think it is too dry for my seedlings.
replant into better soil and good growing to you.
