Hey guys…first time grower here and love all the knowledge you all post and help out fellow growers with!
I attached some pics of my two northern lights autos from crop king.
This has been a week since the seedlings broke through the soil…seems to be growing slowly(that’s my guess) but would love the opinion of you experienced growers.
They are in organic soil…under LED’s and I’ve been watering with 6.0 ph water…I think I watered a bit too much originally but have eased off. I haven’t tested any run off because I haven’t given them enough water for runoff.
Any tips/thought/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Maybe I watered a bit too much to start or maybe I’m just a nervous first time grower
Welcome. They look great. Get ur ph at 6.5 for soil and keep doing what ur doing.
The plants are developing there root system so they appear to have stopped growing. This is normal. Just keep on keeping on
I agree with everyone your in good shape other than ph lvl
Thanks for the replies guys…that makes me feel much better!
Happy Growing
Hi All!
So I’m coming up to 6 weeks into the Northern Lights Auto grow…going as well as possible for my first grow😜
Looking for a bit of expertise from you guys and gals to see how you think they are looking and also mainly what you think the burnt tips of the leaves mean?
Is that light burn?
Any tips would be amazing!
Thanks in advance guys!
Your plants look nice. It is possible they are suffering from nute burn, which often starts with burnt tips like you have. Experts will be along, if you can copy and paste and fill out this ticket in the meantime, it helps everyone asses your plant.

Hi there, I just finished a N.lights auto. Your plants look nice. The tips show some nute burn. That tip burn is usually an indicator of abundance nitrogen. Although there’s no apparent nitrogen toxicity howeve an over abundance can be an issue going into flower stage where less nitrogen is used. Another thing I noticed when I enlarged the pic is some red/purple stems. Not much but it could be strain or could be an early sign of an N K or mg deficiency. With the tip burn present and suspecting your using 5 gal container? I’d flush the plant before starting flowering nutes because if you already have some nute buildup causing the tip burn your going to have a headache in a couple weeks. In my very humble opinion
Thanks, @Zsitchin that’s a great help.
Your right, 5 gallon pots.
I gave them a flush last night so I’ll see how they react…and hopefully that’s the end of the burnt tips.
What was your grow time for the NL autos?
Thanks again
I was given a handful of “speed bud” autos that finish from seed to harvest in 50-70 days depending on which auto. So I anticipated the NLauto to do the same … nope lol. She vegged for the typical 5-6wks as a normal 10% ruderalis
auto. Flowered for 56 days. Total about 100 days and could’ve went another 15-20 days but , I took her at the start of cloudy trichs. I was out !!! Lol
