I have posted this question in my previous thread but did not get any response. I was given advice in that thread to start Jacks 321 and I have. The plant has received 2 doses. This is the plant now and the issue is spreading and seems to be getting worse. Any suggestions?

Plant is suffering but does have new growth that looks good I think but the issue of the spotted yellow leaves is also continuing. Jacks 321 started on Fri, 7/19 another dose on Monday 7/22. It has rained since then. Peroxide and water mix sprayed 7/19. Anything else I should be doing to help the plant?
Most of the ticket info looks fine, but I would get a handle on PPM. My only suspicion is some form of mold given your humidity. Do what you can to maintain good airflow around the plant and continue with the peroxide spray.

PPM = Parts per Million. A PPM meter measures something called EC (electrical conductivity) which indicates the level of dissolved solids in a liquid. It is a measure of the nutrient concentration in your soil.

Looks to me like u might need a bigger pot for the roots van breath more
It’s a 5 gallon bucket. Would it be safe to repot with it being so large? I have another plant with same conditions and it is fine…I think.
Indoor vs outdoor has no relevance. Liquid is liquid.
It looks like one I might buy.
All plants grow differently what works for one might not be good for the other form my own experience the yellowing of leaves is do too lake of room for as big as it is should be pretty easy to change pot size
Are there any drainage holes in the buckets. I can not see any in the picture’s. When/ if you transplant make sure you have a lot of drainage.
If there are none now drill a lot of holes in the sides at the bottom. The soil should be dry between waterings. You mentioned you watered it rained you watered all in 4 days. Thats a lot of water. The roots need to breath. Don’t let the rain get in the bucket anymore till that soil dries to the point you can stick your finger in all the way without getting wet.
Just a guess till I get an answer on drainage but.
- The roots are soaked at the bottom and it is suffocating.
- Roots are staying wet to often and you have root rott.
- There is actually water sitting in bottom of bucket that can’t escape. Suffocating / root rot.
You need a lot of drainage in any plastic container bucket or pot. Soil should dry ever 2 or 3 days with a plant that size.

Exactly. Roots need oxygen and they cannot extract oxygen from chronically wet soil, hence the need for wet/dry cycles.
Root fungus cannot develop in an environment with wet/dry cycles. Young plants are particularly susceptible to overly wet soil and root rot. It is the leading cause of seedling loss.
Holes exist in the bottom of the buckets but we drilled holes around the base. I stuck the moisture meter in the bottom and the soil was damp. It was dry to about 3 inches from the top. Also, I moved the plants to the garage and off of the super hot deck. Will just move them out during the day to get sun. I made a tea out of bat guano because it is high in phosphorus. I was going to spray the leaves with it today, Do you think that’s a good idea? Thanks for helping me.
Looks like I also have low ph. I tested the runoff after adjusting my tap water with Jacks 321 in it to 6.8. The runoff was 5.5. I am not sure the best way to fix this. Can you please advise? Thank you!
I would just leave it alone to dry out. Then when the buckets become dry and light give water with nutes in it ph,d to 6.8 The reason I’m choosing not to spray at this point is I want it to drink from the soil an dry it out. Once the buckets have dried I think you will see some improvement in the new growth. The leaves that were damaged will never recover so you will have to look at the new growth. When the buckets do dry out don’t jump right back is and flood them. Pour in a half gallon of ph’d nute water let the bucket get light and dry again [ don’t know if it will take 1 day or 3 to dry out] just keep a close eye on them. When dry give another half gallon of ph’d nute water and let it dry. Then give another half gallon let that dry and feed as normal till run off if you wish.
Ok now I’m going to get stupid and corny on you. The reason I only want you to give a half gallon or less water between dry spells is. Well. UM. Ok here goes.
I want them to get over their fear of water. I mean common they did just about drown and they could be scared of going back in the water. Also give them a few kind words to let them know they will be OK.
No I don’t do drugs or smoke weed also no alcohol.

So I have followed your advice and this is how the plants look now. The yellowing of the leaves is continuing but the new growth looks good except for the red stems which you can see in one of the pics. They have had Jacks 321, 5 times, basically every other day when the plants dry out. How do you think they look? I have also sprayed with the hydrogen peroxide mix twice in the past 7 days. I am thinking I should spray every three days as the white mold is continuing. Any further advice?
