Pistils turning brown in week 5

Hey guys (my very first grow)so im in week 5(day 2) of flower, growing rqs critical strain, and pistils on all buds have started to change colour yet buds havent gotten any bigger. I checked for hermie but cant see any sign of seed production. Just wondering if this is normal or i should be worried.
Im using 150watt led lights(not expecting a big yield), alga bloom and my ph is 6.0.
Humidity 42-46%
Temp:21-25 degrees

It’s normal, I am in week 4 of flower and some are already changing color.

The reason the pistils are browning and the buds aren’t fattening up is directly affected by your lighting. You don’t have enough to produce big buds. I would look at adding light

I’m pulling 240 watts with full spectrum LED from wall in a 3x3 with addition additional 100 watts with 2 burple lights and mine are changing.

Yeh not expecting much at all due to crap lighting, hoping to get proper ones after christmas

Thinks the buds will get any bigger than they are now.

Changing colors that early is not uncommon… I was referring to the size of the buds

Well, they aren’t gonna grow smaller.

In all seriousness, yes, they’ll get bigger. The modern hybrid cultivars tend to put on enormous bulk in the last 2 weeks of maturation before we harvest. Let them go until the trichomes are mostly amber if you can handle a soporific effect and want maximum yield.

I am still a little concerned about your enclosure, long-term. Even if this is not a case of pollinated flowers, you might need to stick to autoflowering cultivars going forward, since cabinets like that do not tend to seal well.

Yeh i think, autos are a definate for next grow, just dont have space for proper tent, lighting etc… and tbh this was a accidental germination😅 so just doing the best i can to get by. Just hoping it hasnt been pollinated, but thankyou for all advice and future advice. Ill will keep u guys updated on how it goes.
A small relief that they will get a lil bigger in time tho.

You could probably get more out of this one by removing the stake and gradually retraining the plant sideways a bit. The principle is to have all the flowering sites at the same height. It’s not about giving them more light (only leaves need light really); it’s about manipulating the hormones produced by the top of the plant.

Thought it was too late for any training

If you could wind back the clock, you’d do almost all your training up until a few weeks into the flowering cycle, but you’re already past that and looking at a suboptimal situation. The plant is still receptive to training, and a bit of training, even “super cropping,”might improve your harvest.

Ok, might give it a try. Didnt do any training except a defoil just b4 i switched to 12/12. So i think next grow defo gona do some training and get stronger lights.
My short term goal is to provide a proper secure environment for all future grows.
