New pistils browning

Is it normal to see pistils brown like this or is my light up to close

It is. When they all brown up it’s time to study even deeper with a jewelers loop magnifying glass at your trichome development. Your on the homestretch now!!

I think you misunderstand im 12 day from flip these are sites forming thanks for the quick reply though

When you say this I’m confused. Pistols mature and change colors, you’ll find oodles of imagery here to help you decide what stage your girls are at. Do you think your seeing the appearance of a deficiency?

Post an entire plant pic

Thought my light my be turned up too high or too close

Do you have your light manufacturer instructions? They typically offer distances for each stage of your grow cycle.

Yeah 12 to 14inches and 90 to 100% in flower just want to be sure lol it sits right at 13"

If I had to guess which I am lol I’d say your just seeing the girls show signs of maturity and the flowers are set to stretch on up and up lol. Surf the site, there’s so much great stuff in here.

Nice and healthy looking. They just started flowering and about 10 weeks left :love_you_gesture:

Get ready for more stretching, typically they’ll double in size

Looking good Brother, those long beautiful white hairs (pistils) will start turning brown and receding back into the bud, that’s the time to start checking Trichomes :love_you_gesture:

Nice! Can see some hairs turning yellow/Orange! looking great! U can get a 10-20 dollar jewelers loupe to check trichomes just make sure you get a 60x magnify or higher. Also the Carson Zorb magnifier is great when using a computer to check trichromes.

How did you make out with this plant? I’m about 3 weeks into flowing and have brown pistols as well. I just lowered the output of my light. Thinking that may be the issue
