Talking about the OK Kush in front.
It’s 10.5 weeks.
Has pretty much stopped drinking, it seems. No more new white pistils.
I have some magnifier images that may look milky, but I’m not sure. Not really seeing many amber trichomes as yet. Magnifier is shaky, of course.
Just looking for some sage advice from experienced growers.
The one in back is a WW, couple of weeks younger, and the one on the right is OG Kush, way behind. Weird grow.
I’m in the same boat, I think. I have a hard time figuring out when it’s time to harvest. I was using a small handheld microscope but that makes it impossible to capture images and ask for help. I bought a plugable digital microscope on the advice of some web site (don’t remember which) and now I can capture images but the resolution isn’t as great. Here is an image of where I am now:
It seems to me that most or all of the trichomes have turned milky but on here I don’t see any amber ones. If I use the pocket microscope I can see a few amber ones, but very few.
I’m inclined to harvest. But I could use 2 bits of advice here: Is it actually time to harvest? And is there a better tool than the Carson handheld microscope or the plugable digital one?
I have one of those handheld microscopes, but have found that my new iPhone 16 Magnifier App is very good and easier to use. Still shaky as hell.
I feel like you’re a little early, too, based on that one picture, but don’t go by my opinion.
