PiratedSoldier’s Secret Stash!

That’s not a problem. Where i feel like you will have issues is amount of plants you’re starting. Starting 8 now and only flowering 2 the other 6 plants will be 3ish months old when you go flower 2 more? Then you’ll still have 4 plants remaining.

Yeah it is something I have been thinking about, I know I plan to do a lot more training with the girls but plan on running pairs to make things easier than the first go.

My thought is that it would be best to have a second flower location. Space wise I have plenty that I can work with. I’ve also been able to get my basement environment to be ideal and consistent for plants in flower without a tent so there are some ideas rattling around.

If nothing else, this journal will have an interesting plot twist when the girls are ready! :joy:

Well that’s reasonable, I just didn’t see it ending well in a 2x4 tent.

Though, maybe one day for fun I’ll put 8 plants in that tent and just let nature decide who wins. :smirk: But if I do that it will probably be some clones not willing to waste seeds on that fun.

For a little update.

Noah and Bulma have stretched a bit more than I wanted. Makes sense my veg area is still under construction. But got the girls closer to the light so they won’t topple over more.

The other 5 were moved into their ProMix today, I expect Jack to break through first as it was the only one with a tap root.

Unfortunately I have a limited choice on Hydro stores, none have had any (small market here).

But I don’t mind ordering a few for my veg area.

You can put 8 plants in a 2x4 no problem. But not on several months of veg time. If you flipped as soon as mature 8 plants would probably work out pretty nicely.

Well the last of the girls broke their COCO today.

April - CJ
Lacus - WC

We’re the last to sprout :seedling:.

So here’s the seedling dates for each girl.

Photos of the girls.

Well it appears one more clone is joining the girls.

Two clones haven’t taken so they were buried today.

This little one has finally rooted herself, so she’s now been transplanted. She is another Blue Dream.

On another note my Padme clone is doing quite well. To slow her down a bit I’ve trimmed her top to get he to start bushing out more.

Happy Labor Day everyone!

Thought I would share a photo of the little ones today.

Have a question for some folks that I think  clone.
If anyone is more knowledgeable on clones let me know.

This is my Skywalker OG clone, she was taken just after flower stretch.

I’ve noticed she is still growing some pistils but what has been more curious is the fact that she is producing trichomes and even on new growth.

Is this normal for a clone that was taken during flower even after returning to veg?

Yeah normal for a clone taken in flowering, once they start pushing out the trichs, it takes some time and new growth for that to stop.

Awesome, I figured she was doing fine, but still being new this made me curious if she was showing signs of anything. I found that I can take the clones in flower even with a bud and force back to veg but assumed after the first four weeks from rooting and going to veg it would fully change. Seems that was a poor assumption. Thanks

Clones taken from a flowering plant will go through some funky growth before it is truly back in veg state. It take a minute for sure

I’m not fast enough to beat them here lol. But I do agree.

@oldmarine is a good source for clone advice also and @JaneQP they both gave good advice to me when i was inquiring a week or two ago

There’s nothing “normal” about reveg. It will grow funky.

Search monster crop clone here and on the Google. Check the pictures out, it’ll probably help you avoid panicking when she starts doing crazy things. Monster clones look really weird.

With the vast amount of knowledge to absorb i didn’t even notice that was what I was doing. Monster cropping was on my list of methods to read up on more seems that’s been moved to the top of my list now.

Thanks.

If I may add to this reply; By going into lfowering a bit too long, your clone is basically revegging which rakes approx. 2wice as long to root and get newshots.

Hope it all turns around for you.
