PiratedSoldier’s Secret Stash!

Thanks. It’s sooo difficult to avoid wanting to cut a sample and try it. The 15th will be a full 9 weeks, so starting Wednesday I will be watching the trichs more to decide when to cut food, I’m thinking one more recharge Tuesday, and one more feed is about all they have left. But the Skywalker I may push a bit more for CBN.

Man they are looking great. I was going to experiment with the ph swings on my skywalker before I had to do the emergency chop. I’m curious if it actually works. Who knows if that pic on the site was caused by ph or if that person just got really lucky with the pheno.

See that’s the same thing I thought. I’ve searched other sites and I haven’t seen any others give that color. Figured if you accomplish it that’s a BOM win :medal_sports:.

Okay learned a new acronym today.

FECO/RSO

Has anyone made this? How is this different from a general tincture? I’m seeing some mixed information on this, but picked up some from a dispensary as they thought this would be more beneficial for me.

@Newt @CoyoteCody @SilvaBack203

Tagging a couple others that might know as well.

@Covertgrower @Hellraiser @Low

Not sure about FECO, but RSO is Rick Simpson Oil

From what I’ve been reading

FECO is made with low heat and RSO is made with High heat, though I am finding nothing about temperature or duration, as well if you make both separate.

I think this link should be allowed. @moderators, please remove if not.

So that does give some good insight, it makes me wonder how much though is being lost in the process. I know with decarb there is a loss in potency and this appears to apply heat a second time, yet everything I see mentions this is far more potent than the tinctures.

It’s really got my mind running on this one. Cause from what I see you only retain around 8-12% total volume. So if you f’up, that’s a lot of product lost.

I do qwets no heat, except decarb.

I believe @AfgVet makes RSO and also @Flying-High

Lol, I ask a question about something new and you throw a curveball. Now I am learning QWET. But hey that’s point, get first hand knowledge over an article.

Don’t suppose you have a guide you used or a post you talk about your method?

The process I was reading is talking about dry ice being used.

I know you didn’t ask me but I followed Caligurl’s thread.

Above article is the perfect 1 she breaks it down

No joke I was tempted to put you. With a community this large is is hard to know who has tried what.

That’s even why I asked. I read a few articles beforehand, but I find personal experiences far more insightful, especially for the Dont’s!

I personally only mess with rosin and soon bubble hash. Qwet would be my other option but I’m 2 lazy 4 it

Too lazy for QWET? It’s like a shake and bake. Shake the everclear trim and let it evaporate. Boom. Wax. :joy:

I’m so lazy I probably won’t ever make anything but QWET.

That’s alot with the rosin press I just make my pucks and press it boom rosin

Well so far that concentrates blog was already a nice read still more to go.

But this is what I was looking for with this next batch. Is a solid plan for a method to get the highest potency of all the cannabinoids with little loss. So it would seem the QWET combined with the FECO/RSO might be my method for this harvest.
