Pick which light for me

HLG 350 diablo for $450

Or

Chilled x6-mini for $550 and free AC infinity controller 69 pro

That’s a hard choice those are both very nice lights either one would be a great choice but the chill does come with the controller 69

I’m leaning towards the x6 mini the controller 69 pro set is $100 so it’s basically $450 vs $450 and I think the bar style light is far superior in electricity cost and PAR

The 350r is a beast. Just plug and go. You can also use the coupon code DUDE for 10% off, should still work. I got the 350r refurb, literally good as new for $340 after discount.

I can’t speak about the mini, but I know for a fact you can’t go wrong with the 350, especially the recently upgraded Diablo.

I have two 350R’s and a Scorpion Diablo. They most definitely outperform any previous lights I’ve used.

I did get a 20% veteran discount. Which is why I said $450 and not the retail cost of $550

Part of me wants to give HLG my business because of their much better veteran discount and support of the community. Just out of principle.

Thank you for your service! I say the 350, only because I have one, lol. But that’s not to say the chilled isn’t a great product. @dbrn32 knows a thing or two about lighting, if he doesn’t mind the tag, maybe he has a little input

I think I’m gonna throw the 350 in a gorilla grow 2x4 and call it a day.

My suggestion would be to get the tallest 2 x 4 tent that your space will accommodate.
The 350 is going to produce some monsters for you, and it’s nice to have maximum headroom for them!

Yeah was gonna get gorilla grow 2x4 with extension kit bringing the hight to 6’ 11"

 this is the better option. In terms of light distribution and coverage.

As many others I own the 350r also. But I’d pick the x6-mini.

They are both good lights. I like the 350r bc it has a 5 yr warranty and cheaper. (In your case, and thank you for your service). You would be happy either way, and they are both built in america which is also a plus.

This doesn’t really seem to be the case. They both draw about same amount of power and have similar amounts of light output. Only real difference i see is the shape and layout of led modules.

They are both great lights. I think the ac infinity controller is probably over-rated for what you’re doing. In most cases a $5 timer and a little tuning on exhaust fan speeds can provide all of the controls you need, and you have to worry about creating other issues with fancy stuff.

Yeah AC infinity kinda seems like the puffco of grow equipment.

The AC infinity controller is just a supped up temp/humidity gauge that can be bought for 10 bucks off Amazon.

Gonna go for the x6 mini in a gorilla grow 2x4 with extension kit I think.

I might have to just flip a coin on the light because I like the 350 as well

These were both grown with a 350R.

I ended up going with the 350 diablo because of the great customer service and support for the veteran community

I highly doubt if you put flower grown under the 350 diablo and flower grown under the x6 mini in separate joints I would be able to tell
