Ph/ec/tds meter

I’m confused what this reading is ?

Just realized it was on this meter !
I have a different one for EC and ph so not sure what or if it’s relevant?
Any help is appreciated !!

That’s 394 PPMs (Parts Per Million) :love_you_gesture:

EC, TDS, and PPM are 3 different ways of looking at the same thing, for instance. An EC of 2 = 1,000 PPM. pH is something different altogether. It looks like the meter in the pic measures both PPM and pH, as many meters do. There should be a way to toggle between modes. I’d look at the manual to determine how to toggle modes.

Your meter is displaying EC expressed in us/cm (milisiemens per cm) at that scale (us/cm) the parts per million of dissolved solids is about double what th EC reading is. EC is electrical conductivity. It is measured in Siemens or divided into smaller segments like mS/cm milisiemens or like your meter uS/cm microsiemens. So a person has to be aware of what another is using as compared to the meter one has.
Here is a link that explains EC and it’s various scales of measurement.

Where it says uS/cm on the screen, means it’s in EC mode.
It will say ppm when it’s in TDS mode.
Should say pH in pH mode I’d assume.
And I think it’s ppt for salinity… or maybe %

Correction: EC is about double the PPM on us/cm scale

Thanks to all !
Now it makes more sense !
