What should my meter be set at

Hello everyone
I forgot, when I am feeding and reading my runoff, what should my meter be set at? EC PPM, or TDS PPM, and if TDS should it be in .5, or .7 scale?

EC, PPM, and TDS are just different ways of looking at the same thing. It doesn’t really matter which one you choose to use so long as you remain consistent in the way you use it. I personally use PPM on the 500 scale.

Using ec is simplest way because weather you use the 500 or 700 scale, the ec is the same. Be a good idea to understand how these numbers are used.
