Outdoor grow 2025

Getting ready to order some seeds. I’m thinking maybe a cheese and diesel strain for sure. Id really like stinky stanky smelling skunk but so far I’m not convinced I’m going to get that with the skunk strains I’ve seen so far. Anyone got any leads?

All depends on the terps or effect youre hunting…

How the plant is grown and the environment it’s in plays a very significant roll in this. Don’t be discouraged from smoke you have tried in the past. :farmer: :sun_with_face:

Just looking for a strain that actually smells like skunk. Back in the early 80’s had some of the dankest skunk i ever smelled.

30 + years ago i would plant skunk plants in a corn field in June and never lay eyes on them until i harvested them in October. And it was stanky stuff. Smelled like a skunk was in your house when i opened a jar.

For a stinky skunk smell, try Skunk #1 or Super Skunk, Cheese Diesel is also a good hybrid if you want a diesel and cheesy funk combo.

Also, check out the Elliot County Orange Tomato from Bounty Hunter Seeds it’s a flavorful, sweet and tangy heirloom perfect for fresh dishes!

Looking for cheese seeds but i would like regular seeds not feminized! Anyone got an idea? ILGM only has feminized that i seen!

I ordered skunk and northern lights seeds from there. No issues, and they shipped in a timely fashion. I only grew out a northern lights. It was decent.

You ain’t lying about the shipping! It has been shipped and i got tracking number this morning. Looks like less than a week I’ll have them. Iordered them 3 days ago. I almost bought some of the northern lights seeds. But this year I’m going for dank smells and 100% regular seeds. Skunk, cheese, diesel and I’ve also got some personal seeds I’ve produced over the years. I’m also thinking about breeding the skunk with the cheese. But that’s just a thought at this time.

OK I’ve started seeds plenty of times i’ve used different methods. I always soak them in water over night. I usually never wait for them to crack in the water though. Then I’ve put them in a wet paper towel or I’ve planted directly in soil. My average has been about 50% germination and honestly i think that sucks! Any tips on how to properly germinate a seed so i can maximize my germination rate would be greatly appreciated.

For me i use little cups. 3 parts water to 1 part hydrogen peroxide. Ill soak the beans for 24 hours. I also keep the cups and the seedling cup on a germ mat to keep temps up. After 24 hours into the soil they go.

I do similar to @ChittyChittyBangin . I soak for 12 hr and don’t use a mat.

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all doing well.

I like to start by boiling about pot of water for about 5 minutes. About 5 cups. Once it’s done boiling I put a lid on it and set it on the corner of the stove to cool for about 6hrs. This helps remove any unwanted “stuff”.

Next a place the seeds in a clean jar of the boiled water. The water should be room temperature. If it’s a clear jar I then place that jar in a box. So it’s completely in darkness.

I set the jar/box in a warm place. Maybe the edge of the grow room.
I wait for the seeds to sink and crack. A little tail will appear. I wait for the tail to be about as long as the seed is wide. No more then double the width.

While this is going on I prep my pot with soil. Water the soil a few days before you want to plant the seed. You never want to put the seed in dry soil. The dry soil with rob the seed of any moisture and dry it out. Causing it to die.

When I plant the seed I simply dampen the soil if need be. Use a pen cap to poke a small hole in the soil. About three times the depth of the seeds thickness. I put the tail down and “lightly” cover it with soil.

This is what works for me. Others may have better tricks or methods. With good seeds I’m about a 98% success rate.
Hope this helps alittle bit.

Happy farming :v: :sun_with_face:  :farmer: :owl:

The theme for my garden this year is “stinky stanky and danky”! Besides skunks, cheeses and diesel what are some other stinky strains?

Where could find this seed at?

Mine came from Pacific seed, but Blimburn, and Seed supreme also had it.

Wished ILGM had because it was beautiful plant, and buds where very dense and cool looking, would made a stellar BOM entry.
