Merry Christmas @David1974, will be very quite here until about 5 then the kids are coming with the grands for the foray.
Did my Xmas yesterday! The 2 minors ate with mom today and my 3 adult kids have better halfs family to go see today. I’m gonna sit here and smoke until about 3pm then go have dinner with a good friend and his family

Cow manure compost is my usual soil amendment. Id like to step my game up a notch this year but keep the budget low! It looks like I’ll feed with the fox farm cultivation nation. Any suggestions on cheap soil amendments are appreciated.

Youll get them. I got Original Skunk #1, Original Haze and Purest Indica IBL from them in the past. I didnt get to them this year, maybe next Spring.

Ordered 3 feminized hogs breath seeds and 3 original cheese feminized from pacific seeds they gave me 3 free super silver haze cbd seeds! Not sure I’ll grow that but i guess it’s nice to get free seeds!

Well the seeds from authentic genetics got delivered today! Original skunk #1. The seed from pacific seed company have been shipped about week for expected delivery. Authentic genetics sent me a really nice article about germination. Glad i read it. A few things i found helpful 1 being i should be using distilled water throughout the seedling stage.
I’m starting to get anxious and i just got last seasons harvest cured and packaged.

So i plan on making compost tea throughout the season. I’ve seen a recommendation of feeding it once per week! But i see nothing with how much to give each plant when i do feed them. I grow directly in the ground and my garden has superb drainage. If i pour slowly and kill my back i can get the tea to seep through the root ball. But if i just pour normal out of a 5 gallon bucket it will disperse all over the ground. I do have rings around my plants to contain water to the root ball when watering but the rings are 5ft in diameter. Just wondering if I’m going to need to dump an entire 5 gallon bucket per plant or do i need to pour slowly and only give each plant a gallon or less?

I usually put my photo plants under lights for awhile turn the lights to 12/12 and when they show sex i pull the males and turn the lights back to 20/4 and flip them back to veg.

Do you ever have an issue with reveging?

I’ve gotten some herms over the years that i think we’re caused by the stress of the reveg. But that’s how i sexed out all my seed when i gorilla grew from 1989-2008! I dont know any other way to sex them out before planting outside

@Dforce i will add i try and catch them as early as i can when they show sex! Soon as i see a ball is gone and as soon as i see hair they go back under 20/4

I’ve always just let them grow, usually 6 to 8 weeks and they show sign. Sometimes get a stubborn one. I just go easy on nutrients unless there’s an issue.
