I’ve never grown a photo…the longest autos I think I have pictures of, I harvested ~102/103 days from breaking ground; so they definitely were consuming leaves, but also had decent fall colors and were at their natural end of life I believe:
So for your long photo veg, you may not want to go naked all the way to the end like I do.
I think my last grow was thirstier but temps were higher…my daytime 18/6 is low 70s these days, and I can top off by adding about 1 gallon a day between my three. I guess they could go a couple days at peak thirst in my size SIPs but I did leave my current ones for about 8 days after topping them around drinking age and they’re fine weeks later.
