I’ve not seen one specific thread on this site where other organic living soil growers congregate and share information. Maybe this could be the place and of there is such a thread let me know as I’d like to watch it. It’s been awhile since I’ve been active on this site and do know a few here that do grow organic but would like to have other like minded people contribute with a similar path to growing. This post could stall or could grow to a one stop shop for advice pertaining particularly to this style which is its own beast. Anyway shout out if your walking and growing this path and let’s connect and share. Enjoy the day

I’ve read this before! But I also just re-read it!! Thanks

All of his material is good reads haha

[image] DarhkGrows: Ok so I’ve started my 30 gal pots. How often would I need to water? As I’m filling my pots regardless of size I’m adding moisture as I go so when I’m finished the entire soil profile is at a medium moisture content. From then on I’m just spraying down the top that has been mulched and usually cover cropped these will really help to reduce the top drying out as fast as it would without any. Moving forward I continue to wet the tops daily and once the plants get growing bigger is when I water once the pot feels light based on tilting them up/back. Also as jewels mentioned knocking on them will give you an audio of where they are too. I use soil moisture meters from time to time when I’m not sure and even the cheapo ones of those work for me as long as you don’t leave them in the soil and when done wipe them off and before next use use a green scratch pad to the probes removing any oxidation that happens to them. The PH part of those meters are not as reliable but I have a 5 year old one that still is within ± .5 or so when checked using a digital soil meter. They just take longer to settle down for a reading and they will at some point start going way off and can’t be calibrated. The digital one can be calibrated. Used these today to check soil mix before planting in it. [IMG_2615] [IMG_2616] [IMG_6389] [IMG_6386] [IMG_6387] [IMG_6381] [IMG_6382] [IMG_6388] Depth and moisture levels matter.

Ok so I’ve let my pots dry for the last 5 days. I’m going to water them tomorrow! I’ve also added 4 worms to each of my 30 gal pots and 2 to my 10 gal pots. I don’t expect them to do much this grow but maybe next grow. Still haven’t found any decent places that sell the seeds im wanting for cover crops guess I’m being to picky?:man_shrugging: probably just order something off Amazon. Also does anyone here do any knf inputs? I’ve just tried making lab. Not sure if it’s ready or wait. Anyone with input for this is welcome. A pic of it is below  [IMG_1862]

I did this with a soil i mixed up the summer before this last and burned up alot of wood i had laying around the house in my composte drum made out of ¼" aluminum. I made sure it was all completely ashes before adding more composte over top of this. I grew in the soil for one season and it still looks good and ready for another season. I only used it for my vegetable plants in 8 gallon pots out on my back deck.

[image] Full of life: BudBrother’s No-till gardening with probiotics by incorporating KNF practices into your cannabis growing style About Marijuana Welcome to my topic Y’all. Many of you know me well after my many years on this forum, and others will be new but welcome to my topic. A brief introduction: I’m a medical grower in the State of Florida, Central Florida, to be exact as I can be; but it’s still illegal to grow here. Those laws won’t be changing any time soon. So in my constitutionally protected right to the pursuit of happiness, I provide my own medicine. I never sell my herbs or other. Any possible law enforcement reading this j…

Ofc! This was actually the first knf thread a read on here! I was just looking for someone who has done it maybe they have a way to tell it’s done? It’s on its 3rd day. After starting it I was like dumbass I should have let the milk come to room temp but first timer I didn’t. I’m not sure if it matters?. It looks like all the videos and such but I’m hesitant :joy:. I don’t wanna waste the 8$ it cost to make! ( definitely sarcasm )

Lets see if @Budbrother responds I’ve made Labs but haven’t made FPJ yet

Cold milk doesn’t matter. It’s done when the curd starts to pull away from the glass. Looks really, really close. That’s LABs above @GreenJewels

Ok I appreciate the reply :sunglasses:
