Here we go again! Another cold season pushing the growing indoors. This time we are running 10 gallon fabric pots with recycled soil the we amended with our Roadside Organics Highway Dust topdressings.
Started with a few clones that we picked up from the dispo and vegged for about 8 weeks. Topdressed with Back Road Blooms when we flipped to flower 26 days ago. Gave them a the standard day 21 defoliation after doing the same at the start of flower. On day 21 I also did our second topdressing of Back Road Blooms along with a nice heavy layer of fresh Compost to help keep soil life thriving. That soil life is key to any organic grow, helping breakdown and process nutrients into the plants.
Gonna start keeping an updated journal as we finish out these plants and get the second winter run rolling.
was a bit bummed with myself that i wasn’t able to take part in the forums over the summer season, the farm was super busy this year, and im still slowly forcing myself to get online more haha. Looking forward to kicking back just a little pver the winter
7 for big girls. 5 for bag. 3 for kush. Doing a changeover to clones. As they go in to perpetual flower tent they will be 5 or 7. Whichever I pick up first.
Day 33 in the tent and the gang is getting watered with some Pumpkin ferment (fpj). Made a couple 5 gallon buckets of pumpkins from our patch and sugar, ended up with just over 5 gallons of strained out liquid. This will be used for our cannabis, veggies, pumpkin patch and our corn maze.
Pinkman goo and pure indica are setting the pace outta the four. Gonna have to suck it up and put in some supports here in the next week or so. Just never got around to it befor flipping to flower.
Im a few days behind on the post, but a few days ago the tent got its day 42 topdressing, the 3rd and final for flower. Of course we used our Back Road Blooms topdressing. Ive cought myself slacking a few times on the watering for this big plants in 10 gallon pots. Topdressing got lightly mixed into the heavy layer of compost on the top of the pot.
It is winter right? Time for the winter squash! Oh and pumpkin spiced latte’s lol
Edit: Hey @Roadsideorganics.ok, last week @Budbrother recommended that I add a tiny amount of BRB to my cactus seedlings so I did and the growth in 1 weeks is noticeable compared to what they had been going!
We are deep into a cold snap! Definitely winter lol. I dont grow much outside in the winter, i hate the cold lol. I go out to move the pig pen, and thats about it! Did eat some red kuri squash we grew in the fall, we have several on our counter that are staying great.
Thats so cool! I haven’t seen many people use our topdressings for cactus seedling yet. Aloe and some other decorative succulent though
