@Garyak how many plants did you end up going with? are they white widow autos?
Hi…Still waiting for my seeds (WW autos) to arrive, but I’ll probably run them all. If I get overgrown, friends will get extra holiday presents…lol.
I need a friend like you ![]()
@Garyak
Did you end up going with all 20 wwa in your grow room?
@Sixpackdad Nope…14 of the 20 didn’t so much as crack. Of the 6 that did, 2 developed approximately 2 mm. tap roots then ceased further growth and so were planted in that state of being. they failed. The 4 that germinated and grew, did so within the first 24 hours. Complete waste of my time/money…no winter grow for me!
@Garyak wow, that is a disappointment. Did you attempt to get replacement seeds?
We are missing part of the story.
Have you read the germination manual on the site?
How are your temps? What level of moisture do you have?
With all due respect @Garyak weren’t you still waiting for seeds only 23 days ago? What did you do with the seeds that didn’t "so much as crack?
Even if they didn’t crack on schedule, it doesn’t necessarily mean they were duds, perhaps just a thicker seed or a few other variables with individual seeds.
2mm tap root is plenty for me. More then plenty with autos. The longer the tap root at that stage the more chance of me damaging it. How are the 4 survivors going? Remember while they are rooting, above ground growth slows down, they would be less then 23 days old (best case scenario) so would be at the end of that ‘slow’ period at best. Await the growth spurt if youve still got your 4.
What do you mean the 4 that germ and grew did so within 24 hours? Sprouted from medium once germinated and planted or just cracked? Any chance of some pics? It might help others from having similar results.
Sincerely
@Powaforce
@Sixpackdad Yes, cs said they’d send 14. I got the 4 live ones farmed out to another grower who had just enough space for them in her room. I’m not that far south of the arctic circle and it is no inexpensive feat to keep my garage grow area @ 70 degrees. And, at $.25 per kwh it is just not worth it to run my lights for 4 plants. All too bad since sporadic out of state commitments will delay my next grow until fall 2018.
Good luck with you next grow
