One of my sour stomper seedlings appears to be having some issues?

Sorry for the long post. This is my first grow, growing in 80/20 coco/perlite. Strain is sour stomper by Mephisto genetics. Water pH around 5.8-6.2. Temperature around 70 F, RH around 60-70%. Using half of the recommended “light” feeding schedule for the canna coco nutrient line. Light is a sf4000 in 4×4 tent.

Been giving just pH balanced water the past couple of days based on advice I got from another forum. Though I haven’t seen much improvement in this seedling, it almost appears to be getting slightly worse. Am I just being impatient?

Both plants have been getting about the same amount of nutrients, water, light, humidity, etc. Though one of them appears relatively healthy (first plant in the video) while the other has started to show some potential issues (second plant in video).

The leaves on the second one are beginning to cup downwards, it has developed a couple of weird very apparent creases on the leaves, there appears to be a dark green area starting at the vein that slowly turns lighter color as you move towards the stem/outside of the leaf, and overall just doesn’t look too happy.

Any ideas to what could be causing this seedling to experience issues? Should I continue to just give pH balanced water? And any tips on what I could do help fix any issues it is experiencing?

From your video they both look to be in great health i would really focus on getting your temps up to around 78-80f 70° is realy cool for seedlings they like warm weather throughout veg

(see photo, healthy looking on left, unhealthy looking on right).
One of the seedlings appears to be drooping/curling downwards, it has developed some weird curling/bumps in the leaves, and has some very dark green patches that fade to bright green as you get closer to the edge of leaf/steam. It just doesn’t look too happy to me compared to the other seedling of the same strain.

Welcome to the forum.

Your seedlings are fine. Don’t expect them to appear identical. Cannabis plants are at best cousins, even if of the same strain. Do you look like your cousins?

Drooping is normal, particularly around watering time or lights on or off.

Blemishes are also normal. They will come and go throughout the lives of the plants.

Should I continue to feed them then? I was led to believe that it was some sort of nutrient issue when I posted on another forum and was told to just give pH balanced water for a few days

It is correct that they should only be given water at this point, but not because of possible nutrient issues. Nutrient issues with seedlings is exceedingly rare unless a grower is over-feeding from the very start. Seedlings should not be fed at all until the cotyledon (little round first set of leaves) yellow and fall off. They contain all of the nutrients the plant needs until they are gone. Beyond that you should start feeding since you are in coco. Coco is an inert grow media that contains no nutrients.

I would begin feeding when the cotyledons start to yellow. Some growers will begin feeding immediately if in coco, but it isn’t necessary so long as the cotyledons remain viable.

Once you start feeding, shoot for a runoff PPM of ~1,000 (less is okay for the first couple of weeks) and maintain that runoff PPM until the very end of the grow.

Your seedlings look fine and I see no reason to be concerned.

Thanks for chiming in buddy i was busy transplanting

Sometimes I think I need to take a few days off ILGM. I’ve been posting a ton lately. It’s fun to help the new growers.

Trust me sometimes it’s 100% needed buddy with how many new users there are any how many continuously join it can be alot some times haha

I agree. It’s rewarding to educate the new growers. A majority of new growers are “overprotective parents” who haven’t yet calibrated what to and what not to worry about.
