Old school 1st Auto Grow

@merlin44 @MoBilly @Capt.Cola @Axemanjake23 @PharmerBob
Forgot to tag for my update pics. Damn it Gelato . I drop 2 more auto Skitz under the lamp this morning both had tails in 2 days. I’m thinking about hitting up ILGM’s 420 sale. Axemanjake and Capt any suggestions in the autos?

There are not any I have grown that I didn’t like haha . I grow mine based on whether it’s a day or night smoke. For the day I like the bubblegum, am haze and jack h. Night smoke is wedding cake, gsc, and og kush. I burn my Bruce, sour d and gg whenever lol. My first grow was og, jack and bubblegum from a mix pack. I ran five plants and had a very successful grow.

Plant are looking good :sunglasses:

That’s a nice list Capt! After its all over I’m still going to drop some phenos and clone.

You like those square pots. I think they could save some space for sure.

So far I think they’re good. My 2 gallon fabric pot sets inside. I pulled a syringe of water from under the pots curious in the ec and ph. Was 6.2 and .800. Seems good for the age and added a gallon of silica and a 1/4 dose of Grow Big and Big Bloom from FF in the reservoir. Still trying to figure this new set up of the auto pots and adding nutes. Mixed the nutes and silica to the 4 gallons of PH’d water that was in the reservoir. Any suggestions @MoBilly @Capt.Cola @merlin44 @Axemanjake23 @PharmerBob

@MoBilly @Axemanjake23 @Capt.Cola @merlin44 Question Grow Bros? Never trained autos, when would be a good time to start some LST, I’ve been gently bending the branches but what about tiring down. Typically on phenos I tie back to the pot when the branch’s are long enough.

Hey bro :sunglasses: how’s it going! I generally would start lst when they are big enough. The first plant looks short and bushy so you might want to hold off and the second plant looks close but I would give it a few more days.

My limited knowledge in autos doesn’t help.
I’m still getting my mind wrapped around training autos at all.
When I first started growing I seem to remember a bunch of people saying “Never top or bend… an auto because they take too long to recover and never produce what they could have”.
Now it seems everyone is shaping their autos like banzai trees. And their killing it.
Go figure.

Thanks Capt, the first one was fimmed, 2nd topped. Thought I would experiment a little. Noticed some heat distress so I dialed the light down. I’ll take a better pic of the fimm and you can let me know, looks like I got 4 coming out . Thanks again Bro!

Thanks MoBilly, the big one I fimmed didn’t miss a beat with growth. The 2nd one was sickly for over a week. Once it was healthy enough I topped it. So far so good, 2 more auto beans broke the soil surface last night. Hell if I’m not careful I’ll be dropping beans like you brother!

It’s getting to be a habitat I don’t want to break @OGIncognito .
I have a care package coming from @Eagles009 . I’m chewing at the bit to get them in a bath but I have to wait.
This grow hasn’t even hit it’s stride and, already, I’m planning my next run!
There’s no stopping place!

I hear ya Brother, I’m thinking about hitting up the ILGM 420 sale, wish the 10 for 10 was a choice of the strain on the 10 free. That’s why I’m dropping these auto Skitz. Had 20 of them.

I’ll do an ILGM run when I can.

Need some expert help! Is this heat or wind burn stress? No burnt tips but the leaves are forming normal. I’ve researched the symptoms and can’t seem to narrow it down? image|375x500

Step away and let her be, tip burn is natural sign of tds being a tad high. Keep and eye on her not to increase that further into the leaf structure.

I burn edge leaves constantly but seem to cross that harvest hurdle often

@PharmerBob @Axemanjake23 @AfgVet @Capt.Cola @MoBilly I posted the wrong plant. The last post was the one furthest from my fan. Here is the one that’s confusing me.

Thanks PharmerBob, I posted the wrong pic. That 1st one actually recovered well from hot medium.

Holy buckled leaf Batman! Your still good, but like previously stated keep an eye on it.

Are you keeping record of the data on a daily basis?

I made this for keeping track of things and having references to go back to for each grow

Print out a few copy’s, attach them to a clipboard and log data. I’ll tell you there’s nothing like have previous record to skip back to and see where you f’d up

Did you happen to fim/top this one as well? I get leaves looking all weird in those areas as well, looks similar

We cause damage to the top make her squat and bush out as well as grow a branch or two more

As she starts to turn into a little bush and round out cut branches from bottom (in a while not today) to make her grow taller

Right on Bro! I keep a notebook journal and record daily. My EC, PPM and PH are all good. Setting at 900 EC and 6.3 on the PH. The auto pots are a learning experience and have tried to be conservative with nutrients until I’ve recorded more data. Thanks for that journal record sheet, heading inside to the printer.
