Nutrients Discontinued

I have been using the HP for a while now and really like it. @Countryboyjvd1971 I will keep you informed. Was thinking of trying to mix my own soil so has to not use any nutrients. Been following @garrigan62 link to mixing soil. Thought this hobby was just throw a seed in the dirt and that was it. There is just so much to learn and take in. LOL.

Yes @Sirsmokes I have been watching your thread using coco but this is mix of coco and other ingredients. I started off this thread about nutrients now I know from following your thread you use Advanced Nutrients. What do you think of them?

Iā€™m honestly still up in the air. I really love their ph properties, cause Iā€™m lazy. I really havenā€™t noticed a whole lot with a veg plant but their bloom and big bud formulas produced some real nice buds until she hermied ( my fault nothing to do with an) but Iā€™m excited to use them this flower period to see what they can really do.
Sorry Iā€™m sure this doesnā€™t help much but I honestly have no plan of trying any other brand. I also use nftg and fish fertilizer

I use the Botanicare line. It very easy to use and understand. I also think they are a good price range from what Iā€™ve seen. Iā€™ve never had a grow less than 20% THC so it does work fairly well and like I said easy for me to understand

Yes absolutely, For veg and flower. Iā€™ll mix my flower first and then place that in my 5 gal pot first then mix up my veg soil and place on the topā€¦ That way when she is read to flip into flower her roots are right on the flower soilā€¦perfect ! thumb

@garrigan62 How long does it usually take your roots to hit the flower part of the soil? Thanks for sharing my friend

How do you know the potency of your bud @timmyv324

Is there a test you can purchase?

I was looking at the Botanicare line as well. May go that way. My grow shop guy also recommended for our type of plants. Just found out I can buy seeds there as well. Plus his prices for the most part are very competitive.

I live in a legal state and I ā€œdonateā€ to the dispensary my overages and all materials have to b tested fir mold and mites plus you get a CBD % and different THC compounds. Iā€™ll try to post you an example if I can scribble my name off it. Give me a couple !!

I hope I donā€™t get in trouble I shouldā€™ve took out the labs name sorry ??

@MattyBear

Thatā€™s a hard question to answer there my friend. Everyone s grow is different., but and donā€™t, around the 5th week to 6th week of veg give a couple of days either way. quote me .
Ya that would be about right.

I donā€™t claim itā€™s any better than the rest of them itā€™s just what I started using because I bought out a friend of his equipment way back when I stared and that was the nutes I had. And so Iā€™ve stuck with them for 4 yrs now and I like the results ! So why fix it if it isnā€™t broke I figure. They have additive nutes to that you can supplement with to and the PH up and down to do I pretty much exclusively use Botanicare for the most part.

Have you ever seen / used one of these?

The say for use from seed to harvest. Wouldnā€™t plants be growing into one another as they grew? States this model can grow 4 plants.
What your thoughts? I would like to try hydro one day.

Boy that would b 4 small plants. Iā€™d try the 2 plant system. Look at it this way. You will get almost the same amount of bud no matter how many plants by the square foot. I guess what Iā€™m saying is you can grow 4 small plant or 2 bigger plants and get the same outcome pretty much and fewer plant to take care of.

Let me know when you want to give it a go I can easily help you build your own unit for far less than that

$30 pond pump $15 15-20gal tote about $15 in plumbing fittings drill a saw and some spare time can be as fancy or simple as you want. I didnā€™t even bother with sprinkler heads on first version just drilled holes aimed towards center still worked

I would like to give it a go. I would only want to attempt two plants at first. Is it possible you can give me a list of what I need to get? I really appreciate you helping / walking me through this. What type of system is this called? I would like to do some reading on it as well since I have never attempted hydroponics. Thanks @Donaldj Iā€™m in no hurry so whenever you have time would be great.
