Nute/feeding schedule for WW auto beginner

Hey all, so the title pretty much explains itself. I have recently began my grow of the WW auto and everything is going as expected. My stalk has broken through and im starting to see the sucker leaves open up I believe planted the seed on the 1st and noticed the leaves this morning(march 4) . My question is at this point when should i start the feeding schedule and about how much/often should i feed. I have purchased the ILGM nutrient pack that comes with nutrients for all life stages if that helps. Any other info i should know for feeding or growing in general i will greatly appreciate it! TIA!!

welcome to the community and you have came to the right place… there are so many knowledgeable folks here to help you along with any questions you might have… what are you growing in…soil, coco, ect… if using a good quality soil you typically shouldnt need to feed it anything for several weeks just make sure if you are using tap water to let the water set out for 24 hours or so to help remove chlorine that can have negative effects on the mocrobial life in the soil…

Right now im using FFOF for my soil and been just giving it light and tap water and she looks good been growing/changing a little every day.

you are well on your way it sounds like… just let them ride it out and keep an eye on them as they go along…

@Nate_Ryan If that is Fox Farm soil brand new, you won’t need any nutrients for around 6 weeks. If she depletes the nutrients before then, she will show you fast.

This will get your plant all the way to flower. It’s tough to not add stuff to help your plant but in reality this usually just hurts it. FFOF is hot soil and should carry you most of the way to harvest with nothing but water.

So in essence i shouldn’t need the seedling stage of nutes then? Should i just wait till veg stage and just judge by how she is acting/looking to see if anything extra is needed?

FFOF should carry you most of the way through veg. PPMs should drive when you feed.

Do you have a PPM meter?

@Nate_Ryan You shouldn’t at all as FFOF brand new is very hot. If you can add a buffer between the new soil and the seedling, you are better off. I will be doing this on my serious grow. :+1:

I do not. I will get one though if needed

Ocean Forrest is pretty hot. I’d recommend it. You don’t want to burn your plant with nutes. We can help you with underfeeding if it becomes necessary. We can help with overfeeding too, but it is much more simple, and easier and faster to correct, if you don’t overfeed.

Hi all, 1st grow & excited, but need any suggestions on feeding schedule for my auto seedlings
I just planted 3 WW auto seedlings in my new indoor grow tent

  • 20"X20"X63" grow tent, 300W light, etc.
  • Perlite in 3 gallon fabric pots
Didn’t see a feeding schedule for the situation above (auto seedlings not in soil) & appreciate any suggestions.
DO I FEED SEEDLINGS right away/ with nutiients & how long till I switch to next stage?
    Thanks so much!

@Nate_Ryan. Guys I am new as well, and growing both WW photos and WW autos in a greenhouse. I am using Happy frog and Ocean Forest soil combined 50/50. My girls were transplanted March 7th and I have yet to feed them. My last runoff PPM was in the low 4000 range. I have gotten excellent advise here from @Myfriendis410, @MidwestGuy, @MrPeat, and I imagine the other folks here I don’t yet know are just as knowledgeable. What they are saying about feeding is spot on, my girls are all very happy so far.

With brand new FFOF soil you don’t need to add nutrients for up to 6 weeks.

@jetlag
I’d say runoff at 4000 is too hot from young girls. If mine was like that, I’d run 3-5 gallons through it to bring it down to 2000 at least. Just my 2 cents…

How about a picture in natural light?

Thanks, but they are not quite as young anymore. They were planted with the top half of the bag in HF, and the bottom half in OF, so you could say the roots have grown into the OF. They are all doing great, 2 WW autos are flowering, and not sure what to do with the WW photos as they are near the lights now
