Not sure if these are burns or not

AWESOME! !! TY brother

No problem my guy! Happy for ya

This is where i built it

Price list. Somewhere i have most the links. But most is easily obtainable from amazon. Strips n driver i got from Arrow Electronics. They have free same day shipping if in stock

That’s awesome dude! So what’s the output on this? Excuse me if you posted that and I didn’t see it

200w. Its a 2x2 aluminum board with 10-11 strips. And a 190-hlg driver. Usually around 190 but at max a bit higher. N the girls love it! I have 9 more strips waiting to hit a aluminum board and set it off. But no major need so i didnt chase it hard.

Very cool! I am super interested and I would definitely need help in locating parts and all of that mumbo jumbo. So if you ever get a chance if you could break down possibly a list of all materials needed if you didn’t do so already! I seem to be asking questions that you might have answered in the past

I think we did. At $350… u should be able to install a few diff things. We discussd prebuilt company lights. To assemble urself of cheaper… lemme poke DB… @dbrn32. Now Rick. U thinking strips or boards? N what was ur tent or grow size?

I believe it’s a 2x4? I think 260xl kit is priced right about there actually. Assembling a light with qb 120’s in told is currently coming in around $300 if you’re buying everything right now. You could probably get a little cheaper full diy if you had decent discount codes.

Outta likes @rickserena but u heard da man. Go sign up @ arrow electronics. DB u got the equipment he’ll need? Fk it im bored. Brb :joy::joy: which driver tho?

What would be the ultimate difference between boards and strips? I’m pretty far away from intellect on this stuff right now! Are tent is 2 x 4 and 5 feet tall @PurpNGold74. As far as assembly I’m sure I can do that but picking out the right things and knowing exactly what I need to build it would be my problem

Boards im thinking are more focusd under the board. Strips have a more definitive spread under aluminum. Major guess tho

I’m going to use the term ā€œsameā€ loosely, but they are essentially the same thing packaged on different sized circuit boards. The only real difference is the actual led being used on each. For instance the Samsung f-series gen3 strips use the exact leds that the first generation quantum boards used. So provided the current at leds was similar the performance is the same. The strips being smaller package would allow you to customize layout and size of your light a little more.

Ok…definitely givin me a much better perspective. LOL I just want to make the best bad ass light that I can @dbrn32 @PurpNGold74
I just woke so I’m going to be doing much research today and see what we can come up with! Tx so much for the support, love y’all!

Hows the research led ya? And @primus u havent thrown in the towel no?

@PurpNGold74 I’m still here. I work grave yard Saturday night thru Wednesday morning. I think I’m going with the hlg qb 260w v2 rspec. Or the 320w model. Either way they say need 2 kits to fill a 4x4 tent. But I’m thinking with just 1 plant 1 kit should be good for now. Then when I get the tent I can get 2nd kit

O definitely. They are talking if u wanna light up the whole tent. One plant? Thatll be overkill. But when it comes to this hobby… nothing is overkill

@PurpNGold74…lol…24 minutes and I’ll put her to bed then I can crash out…going to order light Wednesday probably…my ppm meter should be here Tuesday…the ph meter was really worth the money…out of the faucet ph lvl was over 7.5. Have not checked the ph on the filtered faucet in the kitchen yet

@PurpNGold74… I think for the time being we’re just going to order another pre-built light just because we’re probably going to be hitting flowers stage soon! After this next light comes is when we’re going to be exploring the DIY lights. I’m trying to put a list together of materials and then I’m going to throw it up here and see what you think when I’m done! Haven’t been very active this weekend because of the holiday.

@primus… we just buy the 98 Cent gallons natural spring water which usually leaves us not having to worry about the pH of the water just the soil. We do still check everything though LOL because we are away to Green at this:-)

Just purchased two 40 lb bags of fox farm ocean Forest. I hope this was a right decision for an indoor soil grow. Also picked up a 20 pack of white widow autos which are supposed to be super fast from seed to harvest. Also have another tent which is a little bigger on its way as well
